Activities outside of General Practice largely revolve around him keeping his 3 children, aged 10-16, busy, with the help of his wife, Melita. MEET OUR SKIN CANCER DOCTOR, DR CRAIG SCHMEIDER (B App Sci, MBBS (Qld), Grad Cert Public Health, MMed Skin Cancer, FRACGP, Cert Clin Occ Med Monash) Dr Craig Schmeider has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, is an accredited skin cancer doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and will complete his Masters of Skin Cancer Medicine through the University of Queensland in 2019. Craig is comfortable working in all aspects of corporate health particularly travel medicine. He completed a Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine through Monash University. MEET OUR DOCTOR, DR JUDY FERNANDO Dr Judy Fernando graduated from Monash University in Melbourne in 2000. She spent her first 3 years of her medical Career including her intern year at Monash Medical Centre. She did her GP training in Melbourne and received her Fellowship in the Australian Royal College of General Practitioners in 2006. She worked as a GP in Melbourne before she decided to move to sunny QLD. In 2009 she worked as a solo practitioner at Middlemount, a rural mining town where she was exposed to the challenges of rural and industrial medicine. Since then she perused her career expansion in occupational medicine by gaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine.
