Now, we all can agree how frustrating it is when you are playing your Sims and
the game is really getting intense and kaboom! It crashes. Stuck, Freeze, Crash

good energy when that happens of course! Don’t get me wrong, modding is all fun
and games, until you meet this kind of exceptions and it sucks, cause you just
can’t figure out why! Now this is exactly where you might find Better Exceptions
Mod comes in handy.

Better Exception Mod known as BE is a low-maintenance mod that will help you
figure out the error in your game. As well as where it takes place in your game
files! More like a scanner, I would like to say. It's common to run into errors
when you play Sims with mods, It gets frustrating cause they do not give you a
proper clue on what is causing the error. The window suggests what must be done
in red bold letters but sometimes it is not at all helpful. Sometimes all it
suggests is to delete the mod altogether!

Better Exceptions mod makes your work a lot easier. It has a list of all the
mods and CC installed on your game. It runs a scan through all of the files and
gives you a detailed report on the error. BE tells you which mod has created the
error, the error type, and what you have to do to get your game going again!
It’s all automatic you don’t need to worry at all!



ERROR TYPES

Now Better Exceptions has its new version on the market these days. This mod has
been updated so now, it compromises detecting all sorts of TS4 errors that take
place. Exceptions, CAC CC glitches, and now with the newest version it can even
detect UI exceptions. UI exceptions are those image glitches that happen while
playing Sims. Sometimes it could be those random boxes that pop up, Some parts
of the interface being unable to load, and warped images. TwistedMexi’s Better
Exceptions have made it very easy. All you have to do is select that exact image
glitch or the part that won’t load. It will give you what UI exception has
occurred now. All you have to do is to follow the instructions.

FUNCTIONALITY

Yes, As We mentioned, Better Exceptions usually figures out the error and
actually gives you helpful instructions to solve it. To me, this is such a huge
burden lifted off my shoulders. Instead of the usual error message that asks you
to delete the entire mod that caused the problem, this might perhaps ask you to
upgrade your Python files. Aka “real solutions” Because these kinds of errors
are typically made due to the scripts using a more advanced Python version than
the game itself! Minor animation errors will be ignored unless you want to scan
it, which is available. As easy and fast as it could be, the scanning process
can take a little bit of time. So you need to be patient while it loads. The
game cannot be resumed either while the scanning is in progress.

BE is guaranteed to find all kinds of errors in the game, if it's caused by any
mod file or a CC file. In case you run into a problem where Sims 4 won’t play
and BE cannot detect it means the error is originating from its original game.
So what can you do? Well, no need to worry! You can always access the Better
Executions discord channel and post your problems with the mod there. Developers
and fellow exclusive users will surely be glad to help as they can.
Unfortunately, Though Better Exceptions scanner is able to figure out the error
and the file it occurred, it doesn’t fix all of it. Finding the error is all
automatic, but fixing that’s on your hands. Well, If the list is not that long
you can go for the “delete all” function for a quick solution. In general When
BE points out the problem and the location of the file, here are some common
fixes you can try out. First, If there are duplicate files of the same mod, It
is wise to delete both of them and reinstall the same mod. Second, If one mod
file is what causes the trouble, then delete the mod completely and then
reinstall it with a new update and the newest version. Better Exceptions usually
provides you with all the mods including scripting mods and Tuning mods and also
your junk files. So as a third, you might have to delete all the junk in your
folders if it points them out.



CONCLUSION

As I mentioned above, The Better exceptions newest version, version 3.0 is here
for grabs! Earlier versions made it possible to track if there’s anything wrong
with CC (Custom Content) outfits. BE can track down bad traits or whims,
aspirations, careers and even bad CC beds. The latest version however does not
disappoint, it has added more features to this mod. Of course alongside being
able to track the UI Exceptions; Heads up! Now BE can track CC to locate skin
tones. It even comes with a locate outfit button in its menu. It will
automatically open the web browser and list all the errors occurred and this
version narrows the list down to the best possibilities. As you can see the
improved version, version 3.0 is great! Welcome, to a hassle free and a reliable
scanning process to fix your game! Sims 4 is an amazing game that every one of
us enjoys. We all know how frustrating it can be when the game crashes. As a
fellow lover of mods and scripting, Better Exceptions is certainly a life saver!
