We are looking for you, a talented and motivated software engineer with new
ideas who wants to make a difference. Your tasks include to: 

 

 * Become a vital member of our multi-cultural team and shape the next
   generation of our cloud-native integration platform.
 * Deliver technical excellence by designing and developing new features and
   fixes.
 * Work on challenging topics like reliability, performance, availability, and
   security as a priority
 * Experience cloud engineering at scale.

 

What you bring

 

 * 2+ years of professional experience in Software Development using Java
 * Track record in working on large-scale software development projects
 * First-hand experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems
 * Understanding of cloud-native and open-source development practices
   (including DevOps)
 * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset
 * Practical knowledge of SCRUM processes
 * Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written; Fluent German
   language skills are beneficial.

 

Tech you bring

 

 * Understanding of advanced messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)
 * Understanding of scalable microservice architectures
 * First-hand experience with Kubernetes, Helm is a plus.

 * Building and maintaining cloud applications running at scale
 * Consulting customers and stakeholders as a rising expert in the integration
   domain
 * Contributing improvements and innovations in our development processes
 * Contributing to SAP’s multi-cloud strategy in the context of the SAP
