BACKGROUND

In 1999, RS Group (formerly Electrocomponents plc) acquired RS, and we’ve been
working together for more than two decades to provide our customers with
unmatched service through innovative solutions, personalized customer support,
and expert technical help — and that won’t change! We’ve simply changed our name
to RS to evolve our business from a house of brands to a branded house, working
as one global team with access to even more products and support, with one goal:
to provide you with unmatched service and support however we can.

 


FAQS

Will existing contracts with RS still be valid?

Our legal entity / EIN is the same, so all contracts remain valid and intact —
no changes are needed to any existing contracts. All future contracts should be
drafted under our new legal name: RS Americas, Inc.

 

Will I experience any disruptions to my online account?

No. Your account access information has seamlessly transitioned to our new site
with zero disruption on your end.

 

When will the W-9 and official documents be available?

Official documents including the W-9, tax exempt forms, etc. will not be
available until after our name changes on February 6, 2023.
