Don't get why it's " new year, new me!"



When the pain inside is still mine and the only difference is a number on the
calender 



It's still the same fake smile with the pain hid under, the same person who gets
treated wrong but all the while he is trying, 



Hard as ever, 



But the change is never. 



People still promise, and break it



People still dishonest, and take it, take the truth and fake it.



Honestly it's just another day,



Just another chance to pray, 



For a change that's unable, but still a thought on the table.



So sure, 2024 is a new year but the pain is still here, still inside, and still
all mine, somthing you will never see as true.

NOT LONG NOW.

They say hurt people hurt people.

I was pure, and wanted to love you.

I didn’t know you were hurt. 

I didn’t know l’d be used. 



Tossed away I’m in the trash.

You were that which used me last. 

I’m lonely so I know no better.

I even offered you my sweater.



Wasted money on birthday gifts. 

I’m just a dick to you, I feel so sick. 

I want to know just who you are. 

Beneath each and every hidden scar. 



But I’m not enough for such a privilege. 

Only tatted arms and cars expensive. 

Gets to learn you, not a friendship. 

That gives you dick, when you expect it.



Give your feelings all to me.

I’ll try to heal what has been broken.

While bleeding out I’m kinda choking. 

You hurt me deep but I’ll learn to cope with.



Your kisses just woke me up.

A coma I didn’t know I was in.

But I see now, I’m just a dick.

Never someone you’d see yourself with.

BOARD OF DEATH

In a room so dimly lit, darkness creeped.

A board of death, where secrets were kept.

On its surface, letters and numbers aligned.

Revealing fates, as destinies intertwined.

Whispers of spirits echoed through the air.

As souls departed, to a world beyond compare.

One by one, they moved the markers of fate.

The board's power, impossible to negate.

A dance of life, entwined with unseen hands.

Guiding us through both deserts and lands.

Mysteries unfolded, in this game we played.

Each move we made, leading us astray.

From joyous laughter, to sorrow's embrace.

This board of death, a mirroring space.

A tapestry woven with silver and gold.

Moments of love, and stories yet untold.

It knew not the innocent, nor the depraved.

The board of death, impartial to the grave.

Yet as the sun set, and shadows grew long.

The board stood silent, where spirits belonged.

For in unity, we found completeness anew.

And on this board of death, our stories ensued.

WE ARE ALL JUST FLAMES

I see a light in the darkness, it flickers in the wind

A soft gentle glow that stands firm yet again

Though its flame may look small, its light shines ever brighter

Though the winds may blow hard, this light never darkens

Instead of going out, it seems to only burn stronger



We are all just flames as we dance and we flicker

If we're lucky, we get stronger from the things that afflict us

The scars, they remind us, the stripes that we suffer

From the wounds that aren't healed 

in those years placed behind us



That freedom is found in a place out of time

It's hidden away, we keep it locked deep inside

It's found in love, for God, for ourselves

To know we are known, to know we are loved



That's when you find those memories bitter

you can toss them away with a word of forgiveness

To let go of the hurt, those memories that haunt us

Let it go and be free, so you can move forward



To live and to grow, to be free to move onward

To find peace of mind, to live the life you desire

To make moments of happiness, those memories of joy

Be the ones you hold close and those you never let go of.
