XR MASTERMIND GROUP

A global community of XR developers dedicated to sharing knowledge.

ABOUT US

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

XR Mastermind Group is a global community for XR developers that want to
exchange knowledge and ideas. Our group was founded in 2022, and since then we
have been meeting biweekly to discuss progress on our current projects (so we
can hold each other accountable), share resources, and help each other solve
technical problems.

SOME OF OUR MEMBERS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have 17 active members. Here is a list of members who requested to be
displayed here:

Alaa “Zak” Noweihed is a game developer and XR enthusiast who founded eStudio
NooN in 2014. He has since has published multiple VR short titles on Steam and
AppLab. His current focus is in building casual VR / AR experiences and
simulations using XR. Currently working on Wacky Invader Saga for Meta Quest.

GLENNEROO

Glenneroo is a programmer, photographer and digital artist based in Vienna. He
is one of the founding members of United Motion Labs, an experimental lab
dedicated to creating immersive audio-visual installations. Previously he worked
on the art/science VR project Noise Aquarium (www.NoiseAquarium.com) to raise
ecological awareness. He started working on his current VR game DodgeALL in
early 2020.

VIRTUAL DESTRUCTOR

Amir Tavakoli (aka Virtual Destructor) is a programmer who has been developing
VR games since 2013. His current project is a VR FPS game called Realm of the
Fallen. In 2014 and 2015 he released several small games that built traction in
the early consumer VR community, including Temple of Merk and EvadeVR. Prior to
being a VR game developer, Amir was a professional software engineer and worked
on both desktop and mobile apps.

RAPHAEL AUBUT

Meet Raphael Aubut, a dynamic Research Intern XR Developer at Spatial
Technologies Applied Research and Training (START), located in Canada.
Passionate about this technology, he decided to dedicate his time and effort to
developing it. He specializes in level design and considers himself a junior
technical artist using Unity and Unreal. You can connect with Raphael on
LinkedIn to learn about his latest work.

WARREN BLYTH

Warren graduated with a CS degree in 2001, and after a decade at OptiTrack, he
started Solid Fuel Studios LLC to publish comic books, art movies, and
experimental video games. For 15 years he has developed small games and

Ecampus. He has co-authored a paper: "Current and Future Uses of Augmented
