THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO) STORY IS THE FOCUS OF OUR NEXT WALK THE
WALLS EPISODE.

FOLLOW THE STORY OF THEIR RED HAT OPEN INNOVATION LABS EXPERIENCE, AND
UNDERSTAND HOW THEY LEVERAGED OPEN TECHNOLOGY, PRACTICES AND CULTURE TO BUILD A
PLATFORM THAT IS CHANGING THE WORLD.

Video of WHO built this: Ownership and empowerment

WHO transforms global health with Red Hat Open Innovation Labs

In 2021 the World Health Organization (WHO) made history when it launched the
world’s first open source learning platform. At the heart of this achievement
was an 8 week virtual residency with Red Hat Open Innovation Labs. The residency
brought together WHO and Red Hat colleagues from around the world, to create a
close-knit and high-performing team, cooperating exclusively digitally.

The experience redefined how WHO experimented and collaborated, and ultimately
turned a big idea into a life-changing reality for health workers worldwide.

On 23 September, join us at the Walk The Walls Virtual Experience, for an
interactive tour behind the scenes to see everything that went into this
successful collaboration and how the World Health Organization combined open
technology, practices and culture to get there.

 * You’ll learn about the principles of open innovation and decision-making, and
how product development teams put them into practice.
 * See what drives the development of a new product, including the importance of
   team dynamics and culture;
 * We’ll also show you how to build an ‘army of advocates’ in your organization
to support your change initiatives and deliver transformative outcomes.

Register now for this interactive virtual experience. Limited spaces available.
