INSTITUTE OF FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS
WELLNESS POLICY
FOR IFT FIRST EVENT
 

As a condition to participating in the Institute of Food Technologists’ IFT
FIRST event (“Event”), IFT has adopted the following Wellness Policy which may
be amended by IFT upon written notice.

 In order to attend the Event, individuals must:

 1. Monitor their health for any symptoms of an “Illness” defined as any
    communicable disease including, but not limited to, COVID-19; 

 2. Not attend the Event if they feel unwell and/or are experiencing any
    symptoms an Illness; 

 3. Not attend the Event if anyone in their household has tested positive an
    Illness in the seven (7) days prior to the first date of the Event; 

 4. Withdraw their attendance at the Event should they experience any symptoms
    of an Illness during the Event; and 

 5. Abide by any other policies, protocols, procedures, or other directives from
    IFT in connection with the Event.

By checking this box I agree to follow any protocols and/or safety precautions
set forth during IFT FIRST for COVID-19, along with accepting the IFT FIRST
Welness Policy. Because COVID-19 is ever evolving IFT FIRST will send out our
Duty of Care and protocols closer to the event.
