The Harvard Law School Association of Europe was officially founded in Paris on
October 16, 1965. The first Annual Reunion was held in Paris on May 7-9, 1966.
Today, more than 50 years later, the HLSA of Europe consists of over 2,300
active members. The purpose of the Association is “to advance the cause of legal
education, and to promote the interests and increase the usefulness of the
Harvard Law School, to further the organization of local or regional
associations in Europe, and to promote mutual acquaintance and good fellowship

About one week after the end of the course I would like to express my sincere
gratitude for the enthusiastic participation in the Executive Course in Art
and Law 2023 both of the participants and the faculty. Their active
involvement greatly contributed to the success of the program, and I am truly

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Emanuele Turco LL.M.
’67, recipient of the Harvard Law School Association Award, former president
of the HLSAE, and founder of STUDIO LEGALE TURCO, who passed away on 29
August 2023. Emanuele was a cherished member of our community and he will be
missed dearly. #harvardlawschool

Many thanks to over 120 alumni, alumnae, and guests who attended the HLSAE
Annual Reunion in Luxembourg! It was wonderful to reconnect after a four-year
break while discovering the many facets of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The
Reunion was generously sponsored by Luxembourg's State Savings Bank
Spuerkeess and Luxembourg's leading independent business law firm Arendt &
Medernach. If you missed the Reunion this year, do not despair- the next
Annual Meeting is less than a year away, so you may already block 9-12 May
2024 in your calendar!

The annual reunion of Harvard Law School Association of Europe is taking
place in Luxembourg City from 18-21 May. The Luxembourg City Tourist Office,
together with the organisers designed the social programme for the alumni:
they will visit the historic city centre during a guided walking tour and
also discover the interiors of the Court of Justice of the European Union. It
is a big pleasure and great honour to welcome this year’s annual reunion of
Harvard Law School Alumni in our city.
