In a pre-recorded message, Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram welcomed guests to the event. “I am delighted that the Liverpool City Region can once again play host to the North West construction sector at the heart of the North Liverpool regeneration area,” Rotheram said. The 2021 NWRCA were sponsored by Place North West, Place Tech, Wates Construction, Tilbury Douglas, Morgan Sindall, Hays Recruitment, AB Engineering, and Relentless. The awards are held in partnership with Constructing Excellence in the North West, and were hosted by the School of Science, Engineering and Environment at the University of Salford and the Centre for Construction Innovation.
