There are 163.2 million daily crossings on 42,951 structurally deficient U.S.
bridges in poor condition.

At the current rate, it would take 68 years to fix all the nation's structurally
deficient bridges.



The length of the 223,000 bridges in need of repair would stretch over 6,100
miles.





1 out of 3 U.S. bridges need to be replaced or repaired, including 29 percent of
bridges on the Interstate.


The estimated cost to replace all the structurally deficient bridges based on
average price data from the U.S. DOT is over $54 billion.
