WE'RE UP AND RUNNING!

12 April 2024 - Thorn Winter

After a lot of work, some nagging of some old friends and family who are great
tech and education success stories, and some technical troubleshooting, this
website, the podcast, and the newsletter are all in their first, fully
functional iteration. I'm psyched! We've got some great guests lined up for
interviews that we'll derive some fantastic lesson plans and resources from to
get your classroom excited and involved with technology! Subscribe to the
podcast on your favorite platform. We're on Spotify, Amazon, Apple Podcasts, and
like a few hundred other ones. Also sign up for our newsletter above! Be sure to
look for our email in your spam folder and report to your email provider that
we're not phishing and not spamming and also to mark us as not spam so you get
us delivered to your inbox.

Our upcoming guests on the podcast include Andrew Rogers, Lead Mechanical
Engineer at a location I am not certain I can disclose just yet. We've got Gene
Buley, a Texan, a Veteran, and an entrepreneur and inventor who gets his hands
dirty, and we've got Dr. Christopher Buckman, Lecturer of Philosophy at Indiana
University Kokomo. First up for next week, is scientist and County Health Nurse
Janna Walter, one of the thousands of medical professionals who stood up and
showed up through the pandemic, and is helping moms and babies in Sullivan
County, New York. The one thing they all have in common aside from using
technology to do their jobs is that they chose skills and pathways to get to
where they are now and they are going to share that wisdom with the New Tech Ed
Classroom and YOU! Good luck and great teaching!
