What happens when a significant other breaks up with an individual? Any normal
person would grieve then keep going. But what if they create an elaborate plot
to break up their ex with their new love?



"I Want You Back" has a silly plot that could've settled if the characters moved
on, but if that were the case there wouldn't be a movie, right? The latest
rom-com from Amazon Prime and director Jason Orley is best seen with a
free-spirited attitude in mind. Go in expecting a fun film and leave satisfied.

Peter (Charlie Day) and Emma (Jenny Slate) are total strangers until they're
both dumped by their significant others (Gina Rodriguez and Scott Eastwood) on
the same weekend. The "Sadness Sisters," as they call themselves, turn their
pity party into a mission. Once they discover each of their exes moved on to new
romances (Clark Backo and Manny Jacinto), they plan to break them up.







Even though the plot to split the couples is trivial, there's a lot of heart to
this movie that hooks viewers. There are several moments that feel genuine
thanks to the chemistry Day and Slate share.

Day has a sweet scene that shows how Peter's affable personality makes him great
with senior citizens and vice versa with Slate's Emma and kids. In fact, some of
these scenes hit an unexpected chord that overall makes this movie more touching
than funny. Ironically, there aren't many laugh-out-loud moments.

Fans of rom-com flicks will see the finale coming from a mile away, but how the
characters get to where they are at that point is a worthwhile, entertaining
journey.

Score: 8/10

There is no doubt about it: dogs definitely know how to sleep.






The amount of time spent napping varies from dog to dog, depending on the dog's
age and personality. Counting naps and longer snoozes, most dogs sleep about
fourteen hours a day.


WHY DO DOGS SLEEP SO MUCH?

No one knows why dogs sleep so much. The amount of sleep an animal needs depends
on its species. Horses and cattle may sleep only three or four hours a day
because they need long periods of grazing to provide enough food for their
bodies. Bats and opossums may sleep closer to 20 hours.

Different breeds of dogs also seem to have different sleep requirements. Some
very large breeds, such as Newfoundlands, St. Bernards, and Mastiffs, spend most
of their lives sleeping - perhaps as long as 16 or even 18 hours a day. For this
reason, they are often called "mat dogs" because they are always lying in front
of the fireplace, like a giant furry fireplace mat.

Dogs sleep more than we do, but they wake up more often than we do. The time and
duration of their sleep depends on the level of activity in their environment.
Dogs that live at home as pets may sleep more than dogs that work for a living,
such as search and rescue dogs or dogs that work on farms. Dogs are lucky - they
are able to adjust their sleep patterns so that they stay awake when there is
something to do and fall asleep the rest of the time.

Of course, today's modern indoor dog will sometimes sleep out of boredom. You
can help your pet by providing plenty of stimulation during the day - this can
be toys, companionship or time to walk and play with you. If he has enough to do
during the day, he may stay awake when the sun comes up and sleep at night while
you do.

member.


NORMAL DOG SLEEP PATTERNS

Dogs have the same sleep patterns as humans. When your dog first falls asleep,
he goes into a slow wave or quiet stage of sleep. He lies quietly, oblivious to
his surroundings. His breathing slows, his blood pressure and body temperature
drop, and his heart rate drops.

After about ten minutes, your dog enters a rapid eye movement (REM) or active
sleep stage. He rolls his eyes under his closed eyelids, he may bark or whine,
or he may pull hard on his legs. During this stage, brain activity is similar to
that seen in humans during dreaming and is evidence of dreaming in dogs.

According to Heararound experts, adult dogs spend approximately 10 to 12 percent
of their sleep in REM sleep. Puppies spend more sleep time in this type of
sleep, which certainly compresses a lot of the newly acquired data.


WHERE DOGS SLEEP

You may think your dog will sleep anywhere, but some dogs are very picky about
where they sleep. In the wild, dogs sleep in dens, and your dog may seek a
sheltered place in your home, such as under a bed or in a closet. Before he
settles in, you may notice your dog hovering or scratching with his paws in the
area where he sleeps. This is to create a comfortable, den-like depression to
sleep in (even if it doesn't make much of an impact on the short pile carpet).

You can make a cozy bed for your dog , or choose from a variety of plush beds
available at pet stores. Some people like to snuggle up to their dogs at night,
and there's no doubt that dogs like to share their beds with their owners.
Advocates of this approach say it strengthens the human-canine bond - not to
mention the comfort and warmth your dog can provide you. However, some animal
behaviorists say it can disrupt a sometimes unstable hierarchy because the dog
may develop the illusion of arrogance. In other words, he may think he is higher
on the social scale of your family than some other family members. For some of
these characters, four on the floor may be the order of the day.

'JACKASS FOREVER' FILM REVIEW

I've seen this point get tossed around online and I feel slightly qualified to
address it: has 'Jackass' aged well?



At first glance, it seems like the answer is a resounding "no," as I'd argue
most of you reading this have already made up your mind on the series in some
way or another. The danger-obsessed brainchild of Johnny Knoxville, Spike Lee
and Jeff Tremaine that, for a short time, was MTV's bread and butter property,
but one that reveled in a brand of stunt work that you could take as either
totally admirable or incredibly stupid depending on your sense of humor. As
someone who was never into that kind of content, the idea of seeing these guys
throw themselves against walls or roll around in their own feces was unappealing
at best and gross at worst.







But as the years have gone on, the reality that 'Jackass' tried to escape from
became very real. Most of the cast have been vocal about their struggles with
drugs and alcohol, Ryan Dunn's tragic death in 2011 left a shadow over the
entire team, and while stunts continued to be the team's bread and butter,
acting projects, speaking tours, and podcasts suddenly became just as entrenched
to the group as any prank. That sense of legacy became abundantly clear in the
first trailers for 'Jackass Forever,' the first feature-length film since 2010's
'Jackass 3-D,' and, according to Knoxville, potentially the last, at least for
him.







Again, as someone who was never a fan, I was genuinely intrigued to see what a
2022 'Jackass' project could look like, especially in a post-YouTube prank
culture era, and in a box office climate still very much submissive to the
pandemic, what'd we get? This was essentially my roundabout way of saying
'Jackass Forever' is actually really fun! That comes with its share of
asterisks, and not everything about it works, but this new film showcases the
'Jackass' crew's love for themselves and their craft more than anything else in
the franchise. Oh, and did I mention it's funny, because, yeah, I laughed a lot!







Like the films before it, 'Jackass Forever' stars Johnny Knoxville acting as the
mad ringmaster of the 'Jackass' crew, organizing daring stunts (and complete
disregard for human anatomy) that are stitched together into a 96-minute
project. In addition to classic members like Steve-O, Chris Pontius and Wee Man,
they are joined by several newcomers, including Odd Future's Jasper Dolphin (and
his father, Compston "Darkshark" Wilson), "Shark Week's Sean "Poopsies"
McInerney, and stand-up comic, Rachel Wolfson among others.

The thing is I can't argue that this is different from any other 'Jackass'
property. It's the mostly same team, using a lot of the same shock value to
heighten the sense of danger, wrapped in a vignette-style structure and some
neat cameos to boot. But I can't fault it for that because, while you could
argue it's the least visceral of the franchise, the results also feel more
admirable.







The stunt work on display isn't just legitimately entertaining, but also
daringly well-crafted, and knowing that the guys are actually trying to take
care of themselves, let alone their new cohorts, provides a level of teamwork to
the whole thing that was never quite there before. It also just makes the
'Jackass' family feel just that: familial, with all the messiness on display,
but able to laugh at all of it and take it in stride.







But make no mistake, entertainment value is goal number one, and my goodness was
I entertained. I don't know how every screening will go, but my mixed
press/public screening was one of the best pandemic-era I've been to because
everyone was having the same reactions of laughter, intrigue and visceral
cringe. Needless to say, while I was squirming in my seat for two thirds of the
runtime, I was doing so with a big old grin on my face, knowing full well that
Knoxville and co. have the swagger and planning to pull these kinds of things
off.







I won't spoil every major stunt, but I will simply tell you that some of stuff
you may have seen in the marketing (Knoxville in the cannon, the beekeeper bit,
etc.) are significantly better paced in the movie than the trailers, in addition
to a disgusting, but weirdly clever, opening sequence that may be the film's
highlight.

Yet it's the smaller moments that really got me, particularly a slap trivia
moment early on with Danger Ehren that nearly broke me and take your pick of any
of Chris Pontius' out-of-nowhere quips (seriously was he always this sharp?).
Plus, the new cast members all fit in perfectly, particularly Rachel Wolfson's
impeccable comedic timing, and 'Too Stupid to Die's Zach Holmes, who gets thrown
through the ringer maybe more than anyone else (aside from maybe Steve-O's
genitals, but I won't spoil that).







Now, all of that being said, while I acknowledge it would be foolish of me to
critique 'Jackass Forever' on any sort of major level, not everything works. In
particular, there are a few sketches that just never quite hooked me, either for
their quick runtimes or just jokes that feel a bit lazy comparatively (the
marching band bit comes to mind).

I will also say the bear scene from the trailers feels just a bit too mishandled
for its own good (even if they do acknowledge it, something about Danger Ehren's
reaction didn't sit well with me). In addition, for as "familial" as I called
this earlier, even though cast member Bam Margera is still dealing with his own
issues, his presence is sorely missed (although he and his family still are
credited in the movie, but I couldn't point him out for the life of me). Then
there's the obvious "this kind of humor won't be for everyone" criticism, but
you've made it this far in the review, so let's leave that in the dust, shall
we?







The point is, after all these years, I feel comfortable in recognizing a
'Jackass' film for what it is: stupidly dangerous, but rarely ill-conceived and
laughing in the face of whatever may result, and that aesthetic is one peak
display in 'Jackass Forever.' I will simply tell you that it is a blast to watch
this team, old and new, find new ways to entertain themselves and frame it in
such a universal way that I think nowadays is sorely needed for a lot of
audiences.

It goes back to the initial question: has 'Jackass' aged well? I'd still argue
it greatly depends on how willing you are to engage with it and the factors that
brought it to mainstream television. But, at least at this point in its history,
'Jackass Forever' becomes an unabashedly fun time at the theaters, and I think
there's something to be said about that being legacy enough.

Overall, I give 'Jackass Forever' an 8/10.

Prior to starting this article, I want to make it clear that Tom Brady himself
has yet to announce that he is retiring. The information that he will be
retiring comes from sources close to him saying that he will not be returning
for what would be his 23rd season.



Throughout his career, Tom Brady has set record after record and has been
recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Whether fans like
him or not, everyone can admit that he is a great player. The Patriots picked
Brady as the 199th overall pick in the sixth round of the April 2000 draft. He
started getting major playing time as the Patriots starting quarterback in 2001
after Drew Bledsoe got injured.

In February of 2002, Brady got his first Super Bowl ring after defeating the
Rams 20-17. He was named the MVP of the game. He then went on to win the 2004
Super Bowl, 32-29 over the Panthers. He won again in 2005, beating the Eagles
24-21. After this, he sets his first NFL record with his 10th consecutive
playoff win.







The 2007-2008 NFL season was a major season for Brady. In this season, he set a
franchise record with six touchdown passes against Miami, which achieved a
perfect passing rate in the game. He also sets the NFL single-season touchdown
record, an NFL record of over 90% completion percentage. He also won his first
NFL MVP award and sets a single-season career-high in passing yards, completion
percentages, and passer rating. While all of this was achieved, Brady lost his
first Super Bowl that year after four previous appearances.

Brady continues to set records and wins another Super Bowl ring in 2015. Despite
all this success, Brady was then involved in a scandal of deflating footballs
during games, which resulted in a four-game suspension. Brady returned from
suspension in October of 2016.







Brady and the Patriots then went on to beat the Falcons 34-28 in the 2017 Super
Bowl, and Brady won his sixth and final Super Bowl ring with the Patriots in
2019. In 2020, Brady continued to play football, but he went to the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers. Brady then won his seventh Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers. This
year, though, the Buccaneers got knocked out of the playoffs by the Rams.

While most football fans have strong feelings either for or against Tom Brady,
no one can deny that he is an amazing player. If he truly is retiring, then the
2022-23 season will look very different without him. There will be more great
football players and quarterbacks that will most likely beat his record but,
whether you like him or not, Brady will go down in history as one of the
greatest quarterbacks and player of all time.

When the pandemic started and the country was scrambling to find its way through
all the misinformation and contradictions from the White House and CDC to the
much-maligned news and social media; we knew that this was going to be a
game-changer. So how is it changing the game? At first, it was hard to see the
result, and for the most part, not even the Democrats saw this phenomenon
occurring.



There are facts that the pundits on the Republicans are not telling their base.
Mr. Carlson and his ilk at FOX News, have never mentioned to their base that the
pandemic and their basic lack of responsibility to human nature is preventing
them from being healthy. So as the media itself is completely vaccinated the
people that watch these icons are tell their viewers that being vaccinated is
like a crime on the rule of law are not dying. The numbers are a scam the
Democrats created to keep people from living, breathing, and drinking their
Budweiser in front of their TVs.The current statistics show the republicans are
dying at a rate of 3 to 1. Now if we look at the margin of the last presidential
election, this rate is surely going to make the 2022 election pretty safe or
maybe sway the off-year voters from the domineering republican turnout to more
of an independent or democratic turnout. Yet why am I convinced?







First and foremost is the democrats have a way of stepping on themselves without
reason Apologizing for issues or daily mishaps like they are the good sister in
the family and nobody expected them to go out and get drunk with a bunch of frat
boys. I wish the democrats would let their hair down, go out and shake things
up. Make like you just won the lottery and time is essential to keeping the
money. Go for the jugular and cut a bitch if she snatches that dress you were
eyeing at the local discount store. Don’t spend your wheels comparing your
political agenda with the has been president, but call out the crazy right-wing
congressional candidates for all their hair-brained conspiracy theories. Why
don’t debunk their rhetoric front and center? Have a town hall with them or at
least debate the nut jobs and get the facts out there for all to see and hear.







Of course, most people say its a waste of time. People have made up their minds
and they won't change. I disagree, many asked for the vaccine in their last
dying breath, so if it comes to taking the oxygen out of the air, the truth
usually has that kind of affect if told with dignity and honesty. Because you
see, the former president has been moving through the far-right pundits
preaching the importance and his accomplishments of the vaccine. Mainly because
there has been a study that shows more registered Republicans have died and are
dying from Covid over the Democrats. He can't keep his "Big Lie" in circulation
if the people that believe him are not around to cheer it on. So it seems the
Democratic party is playing the waiting game and they might just win. But then
there is the black caucus that has sworn to stay home and leave the party in
jeopardy if the voting rights acts sitting in Congress are not passed and made
into laws before the mid-term elections. This seems like a game of chess that
cannot be won by either side of this party. Plus we are looking at Putin playing
a game of chicken with our president. Can this be the only way he can interfere
with our elections this time around? Has the powers that be found his access and
have cut it short to leave him to start a war and kill innocent people so he can
show his power to the democratic world?







I don’t know the answers to many of these questions, and many of them keep me
from getting to sleep at night. Can the pandemic be a deciding factor again in
our election? Will Mr. Putin risk the lives of his soldiers to show his strength
and keep the politics to be polarized by a dictator? While the state and local
governments try their best to make voting an obstacle course of rules and
regulations, I want to find my way through this. Help to keep the voting a
mainstream of being an adult, and assist the people who are misinformed and
confused from opting out and staying home. I don’t care what party anyone
belongs to as long as they go out and vote and have their voice heard in the
democratic process our forefathers created.
