When i first went into the new cistern…
When i first went into the new cistern of transferring my money I wasn’t too
pleased with doing something i wasn’t familiar with, but having no choice I had
to use it! And after following all the instructions and getting in touch with my
UK Bank and giving them their instructions etc ,I was very pleased to see that
my money had been transferred safe and sound into my account within 24 hours .

Buying a house in another country
This was an extremely stressful situation, buying a house in another country but
we appreciated the representatives we spoke with who helped guide us through it.
They were all very kind and understanding and truly trying to help us out. There
are a few suggestions, just for better service. More training on IBAN numbers
and how they need to be written. This was one of our big struggles because we
had help with the recipients info, importing it. If we had been told the correct
info on IBAN numbers in the beginning it would have saved us so much time and
money. Instead the representative tried his hardest to help us import the info,
but was wrong and our wire was rejected. This added to the stress and cost, so
better training for representatives would have helped us import it right the
first time. At least latter after rejection we talked to a representative who
knew how the IBAN number needed to look like. The other issue we had was we
asked for the swift reference number for one of our wire transfers because the
recipients bank could not find the money and was not accepting the receipt of
confirmation. They specifically asked us to get the swift reference number. We
called and asked for this repeatedly but in the end never got it. The recipient
did at least finally find the money after 8 days searching for it. This process
would have also been faster if the representatives could have gotten this info.
But again…overall this was an excellent platform that helped us through each
stressful situation in buying a house in another country. They truly do try to
help you!! Thank you
