Video Source (55)

Grid Battery Metals Inc. (OTCQB: EVKRF) (TSXV: CELL) recently made headlines
with the announcement of its soil sample results at the Texas Springs Nevada
Lithium Project. In an exclusive interview with Coreena Robertson from The
Watchlist, Tim Fernback, the CEO of Grid Battery Metals Inc., shed light on the
significance of these results and their implications for the company’s future
endeavors. (55)

Unveiling the Lithium Potential (55)

Grid Battery Metals Inc. has made a remarkable stride in its pursuit of lithium
resources with the release of the soil sample results from the Texas Springs
Nevada Lithium Project. Tim Fernback emphasized the importance of these
findings, highlighting the promising data that underscores the potential of this
strategic exploration project nestled in the heart of Nevada’s lithium-rich
landscape.

A Strategic Location (55)

The Texas Springs Lithium Property, part of Grid Battery Metals Inc.’s extensive
portfolio, shares its borders with the Nevada North Lithium Project owned by
Surge Battery Metals Inc. (TSXV: NILI, OTC: NILIF). Surge Battery Metals has
already achieved significant success in identifying lithium-bearing clay
deposits on their property, with average lithium content surpassing 3254 ppm in
near-surface clay zones, applying a 1000 ppm cut-off. Furthermore, Surge’s
recent drilling program yielded even more promising results, with lithium grades
soaring to an impressive 8070 ppm, reaffirming the lithium-rich nature of the
region.

CEO’s Enthusiasm for the Future (55)

Tim Fernback, Grid Battery Metals Inc.’s CEO, expressed his enthusiasm regarding
the completion of the first phase of the exploration program. He emphasized the
importance of these encouraging results for the company’s shareholders and their
role in shaping the strategy for the upcoming 2024 exploration season.

Significant Insights from the Soil Sampling Program (55)

Seth Cude, P.G., Grid’s Qualified Person, provided valuable insights into the
soil sampling program’s results. According to Mr. Cude, the soil sampling has
unveiled zones of strong lithium concentrations in the northwestern region of
the Texas Spring Lithium property. Notably, these zones align with the robust
soil results obtained from Surge Battery Metal’s Nevada North Lithium project.
Additionally, CSAMT data has indicated the presence of near-horizontal to gently
dipping subsurface horizons, potentially serving as paleo accumulation basins
for lithium-bearing clays. This information, combined with the soil assay data,
will play a pivotal role in identifying promising drilling targets for future
exploration efforts.

Key Highlights of the Soil Sample Results (55)

The soil sample results from the Texas Springs Nevada Lithium Project are
undeniably promising:

• Identification of two high-grade lithium zones, one in the north measuring 850
meters by 475 meters, and another in the south covering an area of 200 meters by
175 meters.

• A clear high-grade lithium zone in the northern section of the project area,
aligning with the high-grade soil samples observed in Surge’s neighboring
property.

• Six soil samples exhibiting lithium grades exceeding 3,000 ppm.

• A comprehensive collection of 810 samples, with values spanning from 10 ppm to
5610 ppm.

• Forty samples meeting or surpassing the 1000 ppm threshold, resulting in an
average lithium grade of 2010 ppm.

Rigorous QA/QC Measures and Sampling Protocols (55)

Surge Battery Metals Inc. (TSXV: NILI, OTC: NILIF) maintained rigorous quality
assurance and quality control (QA/QC) measures to ensure the accuracy and
reliability of the soil sample data. Duplicate samples, taken approximately 1 in
every 20, exhibited excellent correlation with the originals, with an r2 value
of 0.9963 and minimal differences in average values of 2%. Moreover, standards
were inserted at a similar frequency, with an average variation of 7% and a
range of 40 ppm.

The sampling protocols adhered to industry standards, with GPS units used for
precise sample location determination. Soil samples were collected from the B
horizon, composited, and sieved over a depth of 10 to 12 inches, following
established soil sampling methodologies. Subsequently, the samples were securely
transported to ALS labs in Elko by Rangefront, where they underwent drying,
sieving to 180 microns (80 mesh), and 36-element ME-ICP41 aqua regia analysis.
(55)

Charting a Promising Path Forward (55)

Surge Battery Metals Inc. (TSXV: NILI, OTC: NILIF)’s announcement of the soil
sample results at the Texas Springs Nevada Lithium Project marks a significant
milestone in the company’s exploration efforts. The data highlights the presence
of high-grade lithium zones, further cementing the region’s reputation as a
lithium-rich hub. The meticulous QA/QC measures and robust sampling protocols
instill confidence in the reliability of the findings.

With an eye on the promising geological data and high lithium grades, Grid
Battery Metals Inc. is well-positioned to plan its next steps for the 2024
exploration season. These results underscore the company’s commitment to a
systematic and meticulous approach to mineral exploration, reaffirming its
dedication to unlocking the vast potential of claystone lithium deposits in
Nevada. As global demand for lithium continues to rise, Surge Battery Metals
