The "National Emergency" is over. The "Public Health Emergency" is over. CONGRESS MUST meet to debate and vote on the end of the "National Emergency" BEFORE March 1, 2022. The voice of the people must be heard. The normal rule of law must be reinstated. Individual liberties, rights and freedoms must be restored. HOWEVER, please be aware that there are TWO declared emergencies that MUST come to an end: 1) The "National Emergency" was declared by former President Trump on March 13, 2020 (retroactive to March 1, 2020 - one year duration), renewed by President Joe Biden in February 2021 and is coming up for renewal on March 1, 2022. Congress has been obligated by law to vote every 6 months to continue or end the emergency. They have failed in their legal obligation and MUST be held accountable. 2) The "Public Health Emergency" was declared on January 31, 2020 and has been renewed every 90 days since. Congress does NOT have any legal authority to impact this declaration. This is an enormous flaw in our legal system. This is the foundation upon which ALL of the "Emergency Use Authorizations" have been built. The "declaration" of a "Public Health Emergency" by the Secretary of the Department of health and Human Services is what enabled a medical dictatorship to take over our lives. This is the root of our problem!!! Terminating the "Public Health Emergency is far more important than terminating just the "National Emergency!" Simply by making that determination, the Secretary unleashes an enormous number of additional, legally enacted authorities in order to respond to the "Public Health Emergency." Once that authoritarian genie is let out of the bottle, only the Secretary of HHS can determine that the "Public Health Emergency" is over. This is the root of our problem: President Roosevelt and the Congress made an ENORMOUS mistake: They neglected to put any legal check on this emergency authority. In effect, they enabled the creation of a medical dictatorship. This aspect of this law must be changed. It gives far too much power and authority to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and needs to have a provision that would require Congress to vote every 90 days in order to approve or override the Secretary's determination.
