ABOUT US

“VISION“

To transform lives and foster community collaboration through the power of
sports, creating a supportive environment where every individual, regardless of
their background, can thrive and achieve their full potential.

“MISSION“

CSSA ( Canadian Street Soccer Association) is dedicated to using sports as a
tool for positive change in the lives of disadvantaged and marginalized groups.
We engage, motivate, and reintegrate individuals facing challenges such as
homelessness, refugee status, addiction, mental health issues, and social
exclusion. Our mission addresses housing, health, and employment issues through
collaborative partnerships and data-driven programs.

OUR IMPACT

The Canadian Street Soccer Association is dedicated to transforming lives and
fostering community collaboration through the power of sports. Our goal is to
support disadvantaged and marginalized individuals, including those facing
homelessness, refugee status, addiction, mental health challenges, and social
exclusion. Through collaborative partnerships with shelters, charities,
government bodies, universities, and professional sports clubs, we deliver
impactful programs that address housing, health, and employment issues. Our
initiatives, grounded in research, include weekly inclusive soccer programs,
local and international tournaments, and training and rehabilitation sessions,
promoting holistic growth and well-being for all participants. By joining the
Homeless World Cup global network, we aim to create a supportive environment
where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential.

SUPPORT

We collaborate with local shelters, charities, government bodies (federal,
provincial, and municipal), universities, and professional sports clubs to
deliver impactful programs. Our initiatives are grounded in research and
tailored to meet the needs of our community. By providing regular sports
activities, including weekly soccer programs for men and women, and organizing
tournaments at local, national, regional, and international levels, we create
inclusive opportunities for engagement and personal development. Additionally,
we co-host training and rehabilitation sessions with social agencies to support

TEAM CANADA

CSSA players represent Canada at the transformative Homeless World Cup
tournament, held annually

Players facing homelessness and social exclusion will now have the chance to
represent Canada in upcoming tournaments under the umbrella of the Homeless
World Cup.

The Homeless World Cup is more than just a football tournament; it’s a
purpose-driven event. Their year-round efforts lead up to a world-class
tournament that not only changes the lives of participants but also influences
global attitudes toward homelessness. Using football as a universal language,
the Homeless World Cup aims to create a world without homelessness.
