Our insurance covers hirers with a minimum age of 21, however, the actual minimum age that we allow for hirers may differ between each of our vans. Please review the information on each of our van listings to see the permitted minimum age for that specific van. (For hirers under the age of 25, Camplify will charge an additional excess of $600) Can I take the van off-road? When you look at our vans, some may have Off-Road usage permitted, you will need to disclose your Off-Road interest in your Booking Request. Only upon discussion will it be considered. We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fees for Off-Road travel. Please see Camplify’s Terms and Conditions for Off-Road usage, including an additional excess, Off-Road Checklist and more. There's an emergency - what do I do? If there is a normal issue with the van - call us first, we may be able to help guide you. Breakdown - For NRMA Roadside assistance you must call Camplify. Then call us to let us know what is happening, as we will need to make the decisions on what happens to the van. Accident - Stay safe, get off the road and call Emergency Services. If another vehicle was involved, take photos of the scene and obtain a copy of their Drivers Licence and registration. Call us and send through the information. Please notify Camplify when possible. Will I need to pay a deposit? Camplify requires a deposit of 25% to secure the booking, unless it’s within 30 days, then full payment is required. Once we have approved the booking, we ask that you pay within 48 hours of your booking request. If payment is not received within 48 hours we hold the right to cancel your booking. What does the booking fee cover? Camplify charges a 'booking fee' on top of the daily rate and any 'Optional Extras' that are included in the hire. This booking fee includes 24/7 phone support, Nationwide 24/7 Roadside Assistance and a Payment Protection Guarantee. Can I reduce my Accident Excess in case of damage? Yes! Hirers have two options to reduce the Accident Excess with the ‘Happy Camper’ or ‘Risk Taker’ package, which will reduce their excess in the event of damage/accident to as low as $500 per incident. This is very similar to the excess process when hiring a car. Is there a bond? All our bookings are processed through Camplify - Instead of a 'bond', Camplify has an Accident Excess.This works just like a hotel: they take an imprint of your credit card when you make a booking and we only take funds if damage occurs during the hire. In the event of any damage occurring, the amount of money that is held will be equivalent to the Accident Excess package when you make the booking. This is done on a per-incident basis just like with car rental. Is damage cover included? All of our vans have damage cover, protecting them against accidents and damage whilst they are on hire. Each of our bookings are processed through Camplify meaning that damage cover is included. In the event of damage, the maximum you will have to pay (per incident) will be your Accident Excess. This can be reduced by selecting one of our Accident Excess packages 'Happy Camper' or 'Risk Taker' How do I make a booking? To book a van through Camplify you will first need to be a member of our community, if you are yet to do so you can sign up here: Sign Up to Camplify After you have created your account, use the search bar at the top of the page to search the location that you either would like to collect the vehicle from or would like the vehicle delivered too. This will take you to a page displaying all the listings in that specific area or region, should you wish there will be a filter bar towards the top of the screen that will allow you to filter for things such as; Dates for hire, Vehicle type, Amenities, Berths (number of people who can sleep in the van) Hire type and so on. Once you find a RV that you are interested in hiring, click on the listing and you will be able to view further details in regards to the van.After reading through the vehicle description, amenities and hiring rules if you are still wanting to hire you will be able to send through a booking request by entering you desired dates in the Calendar on the right hand side of the screen.When you enter in these dates a breakdown of the cost will appear a button "Request to Book", please check this costing before sending through the request to ensure you are happy with the charges for the van. Once you hit the "Request to Book" button you will be re directed to a second page that will allow you to select any extra products you may want to add and provide you an opportunity to send a message to the vehicles owner. Please note that most owners will have a set list of questions for you to answer, failing to do so may result in them declining your booking as this is how they vet their hirers.Once you answer their questions and potentially ask some of your own you will be able to finalise your request and send it through.*Once you have completed this process you will be able to have a conversation with the owner via the platform message system. After the two of you have finished speaking on the hire the owner will approve your booking and provide you with 48-72 hours to make payment* * After payment is secured, you will discuss with the owner in regards to the pickup and drop off times that suit the two of you. When you are closer to the hire dates you will be notified of the pick up location. On the day of hire the owner will conduct a handover of the van and demonstrate the correct use of the RV for you hire. Should you have any concerns please contact our support staff on 1300 416 133 * A booking request is an expression of interest, a booking is not confirmed until the owner approves and a hirer pays. ** Different Owners will have different deadlines for the deposit payment, the times listed are a guide not a ruling. Do I have to go through Camplify? Can I pay directly? Everything is done through Camplify for your safety. What are the pick up and drop off times? We are flexible you can collect from us any time during the day – just keep in mind we have a large, young family who need us in the very early morning and evenings. What is the minimum booking period? 3 Days. Are your RVs pet-friendly? Sorry, our vans are not pet friendly. Are there any hiring age restrictions? Minimum age is 21. HAVE A QUESTION? WE CAN HELP!
