ABOUT US

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About our Organization The IATP Mission Statement IATP Leadership
Advisory committee Management Board
History of IATP

The International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) is a convention of airlines
made up of over 100 Member Airlines, 40 “Guest” Airlines, and around 35 service
providers (called Associate Members). In the spirit of co-operation, members of
the aviation industry gather twice yearly to discuss sharing of resources,
reducing costs, while improving operating efficiency. Under its auspices,
members share aircraft recovery kits, aircraft parts and tooling, Line
Maintenance services and ground handling equipment.

The membership has grown to boast 400 delegates around the world, making it a
diverse and multi-cultural community. There are no boundaries and every member
is encouraged to bring forward their ideas, suggestions and opinions without any
political prejudice. In the spirit of a "global village" environment, IATP
promotes goodwill towards all its members, explores new directions within the
frame of its mission, and respects the interest of all member airlines.

Within its 75-year history promoting unparalleled safety in the skies, this
association has not only contributed immensely to the aviation industry as we
know it today, but has also forged strong bonds between airlines around the
world. Competing airlines are united in the technical field. This bond, which
began in 1948, was originally based solely on a gentlemen's agreement. With the
dawn of the 21st century propelling IATP forward, its mission to provide
excellent technical performance in aircraft operations is unmatched due to the
high degree of mutual assistance from all member airlines.

IATP governance is assured by a Advisory Committee while the day-to-day
activities are managed by a Corporate Office. Several Project Groups and
Committees have been set up in order to address current industry challenges and
maintain the IATP to the highest levels of expertise.

IATP Mission

The IATP is a convention of Airlines sharing Technical Resources to generate

on a democratic culture with equal opportunities for all member Airlines and
their delegates.

 * 1948

EVENTS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The IATP Semi-annual Conference offers a multitude of events that allow
attendees to connect with over 100 airlines from around the world. This unique
venue gives you the opportunity to conduct your pooling business – whether it's
spare parts or line maintenance – in the most efficient manner while allowing
you to share your industry knowledge, network, reunite with colleagues, and much
more!

INFO

We are pleased to inform that the 128th Conference held in Istanbul, Türkiye on
October 7 - 11, 2023, was a record-breaking event: with over 600 Airline,
Associate Member and Authorized Guest Vendor’s representatives from over the
world, it is the most attended conference to date. IATP thanks once again
Turkish Airlines and Turkish Technic for their strong support, as well as all
the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Sponsors for their contribution to this successful
conference.

More than 2,800 B2B meetings took place among the participants to discuss and
finalize terms and conditions for pooling agreements regarding spare parts,
aircraft recovery equipment and line maintenance support for the forthcoming
season. In addition to the traditional B2B meetings scheduled through the event
platform, the delegates could also participate for the first time in "AOG Speed
Meetings": the attendees had the opportunity to meet other counterparts (both
from Airline and Associate members), exchange contact details, and briefly check
the support opportunities between the companies with the aim to solve AOG
situations, when no pooling could be set up in advance. Very positive feedback
was received from the participants. The conference enabled IATP Airline Members
to review not only the progress made on new projects, such as Engine Pooling,
which will shortly be released on the IATP Platform, but also to share and
discuss all technical topics related to the air transport operations, such as
foreign Part-145 approvals, audits, and safety management system.

While 8 Observer Airlines joined the 128th Conference, IATP warmly welcomed 5
new Airline Members, reaching another new record of 130 Airline Members and 40
Associate Members!
