COURSE DESCRIPTION

The demand for recognised qualified locksmith professionals continues, this
locksmith course will enable you to understand and implement elements at the
very core of traditional and modern locksmith practice, allowing you to develop
the skills to identify, gain entry and diagnosis elements within locks. This
locksmith course is specially designed for students who have little or no
previous experience in the locksmith and security industry.

 * Detailed Course Description: The new international diploma is the most
   advanced locksmith qualification in Europe; covering the locksmith theory,
   governmental legislations, roles, duties, problem solving and practical
   skills that were found in the previous ‘Foundation’ Locksmith Course and
   ‘Level 3 Enhanced Automotive Locksmith Course’. It’s designed to take you
   from novice to confident professional to work in any section of the industry
   with confidence and ease, including business and setting up support.

 * * Stage 1: Distance learning via the virtual learning platform

Unit 5 - Prepare and maintain equipment and machines

Unit 6 - Meet customers’ needs for locksmith information and advice

Unit 7 - Maintain security of customers’ keys and records during locksmith
activities

Unit 8 - Provide a simple quotation for security devices and hardware

Unit 9 - Principles of key cutting

(Laser Keys, Tibbe Keys, Wafer Keys, Simplex Keys, Dimple Keys and much more)

Unit 10 - The principles and practice of vehicle key repairs

(Soldering, Battery Replacement, Case Replacement, Blade/Pin Replacement and
much more)

Unit 11 -The principles and practice of vehicle lock types and opening methods

(Picking, Decoding, Bypassing and much more)

Unit 12 - The principles and practices of vehicle key learning

(Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroen, Dacia, Fiat, Ford, Honda,
Hyundai, Infinite, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes, MG, Mini,
