Founded in 1984, Best Friends Animal Society is a leading animal welfare
organization working to end the killing of dogs and cats in America’s
shelters by 2025. Partnering with a network of more than 4,200 animal
welfare groups, shelters, and community programs nationwide, Best Friends is
working to Save Them All®. The organization also operates the Sanctuary in
Kanab, Utah – the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.
Whisker has donated $150,000 to support Best Friend Animal Society’s
lifesaving work across the country, including the Best Friends Cat World
Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. Together, we have saved over 9,000 cats!
We’ve also donated products for use at the Best Friends Animal Society and
its life-saving centers throughout the country. Whisker is proud that our
Litter-Robot products and technology are being used to provide a clean,
odor-free, and monitored environment for the rescue cats housed in its
facility, making litter box chores significantly easier for volunteers, so
they have more time for other cat care needs. Litter-Robot is now the
Official Litter Box of Best Friends Animal Society.

* HOW DO I USE THE LITTER-ROBOT LITTER TRAP™ MAT WITH LITTER-ROBOT?
Place the Litter-Robot Litter Trap™ Mat only in front of Litter-Robot. Do not
place it underneath Litter-Robot (fully or partially).
* HOW DO I USE ODORTRAP® PACKS WITH LITTER-ROBOT 4?
It’s easy! Download our Litter-Robot 4 OdorTrap® installation guide.
* HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE LITTER-ROBOT WASTE DRAWER LINER OR
ODORTRAP® PACKS?
Replace the waste drawer liner whenever you need to empty the waste drawer.
How often you empty the waste drawer depends on the number and size of your
cats. For two average-sized cats, twice per week is typical. For a single
cat, once per week is usually sufficient. For optimal odor absorption, we
recommend changing the OdorTrap® Pack every 2 weeks, but replacement
frequency is up to you and your cats' usage patterns.
* WILL MY CAT ACTUALLY USE LITTER-ROBOT 4?
Most likely. Many cats use Litter-Robot within several days to a week of
setting it up. Those already familiar with a covered litter box may be
quicker to investigate Litter-Robot 4. The trick is to ease your cat into
transitioning to Litter-Robot. You can avoid startling your kitty by leaving
Litter-Robot switched off until you notice your cat has used it. We recommend
that you place Litter-Robot in the same location as the old litter box. You
can leave the old litter box near Litter-Robot for a short time. Take a cup
of litter from the old litter box and add it to the clean litter in
Litter-Robot. The scent will be familiar, and your cat should be inclined to
check it out. Learn more about acclimating your cat.
* CAN KITTENS USE LITTER-ROBOT 4?
Yes. Litter-Robot 4 uses laser and weight sensor technology to detect when
your cat enters and exits the globe, which triggers the countdown timer and
cleaning cycle. The SmartScale™will not recognize kittens that weigh less
than 3 lbs. Therefore, kittens that weigh less than 3 lbs can use
Litter-Robot 4, but not in automatic mode. Until they weigh enough, we
recommend using your Litter-Robot in "semi-automatic" mode to keep your
kitten safe and relieve you from litter box scooping. For "semi-automatic"
mode, leave Litter-Robot powered off or unplugged. When you see your kitten
has used it, wait about 7 minutes for the waste to clump, then power it on.
Litter-Robot will automatically perform a clean cycle. Afterward, power it
off again. Continue this supervised, semi-automatic mode until your kittens
have gained sufficient weight to activate the SmartScale™.
* DOES LITTER-ROBOT 4 HAVE A WEIGHT LIMIT?
No, Litter-Robot 4 does not have a weight limit. With entryway dimensions of
15.75"H x 15.75"W and interior globe dimensions of 15"-17"H (depending on
litter level) x 19"W x 18"D, almost any domestic cat can fit comfortably
inside the globe.
* DOES LITTER-ROBOT REQUIRE SPECIAL LITTER?
No, Litter-Robot 4 does not require special litter. Litter-Robot works well
with almost any clumping or scoopable litter. Litter beads and crystals that
are small enough to pass through the screen will also work. Litter-Robot is
not compatible with litters that are strictly absorbent, non-clumping,
loose-clumping, newspaper-based, or wood-based pellets. We suggest
all-natural premium cat litter for Litter-Robot (one bag is included in this
bundle!).
* WILL LITTER-ROBOT 4 ELIMINATE LITTER BOX ODORS?
Litter-Robot 4 features an optional OdorTrap® System designed to neutralize
litter box odors. This system uses the combination of a sealed waste drawer
and carbon filter to reduce odor. You can opt to replace the carbon filter
with OdorTrap® Packs (2 packs included in this bundle) to eliminate litter
box odors through natural chemistry. Most users suggest that Litter-Robot
drastically reduces and or even eliminates litter box odors.
* CAN I USE THE APP WITH BOTH IOS AND ANDROID?
The Whisker app is compatible with Apple mobile devices with iOS 13.0 or
greater and Android devices 8.0 or greater. Both the iOS app and the Android
app are available to download.
* CAN I CONNECT THE APP TO MULTIPLE LITTER-ROBOTS?
Yes. You can onboard multiple WiFi-enabled Litter-Robots to the same app. If
others in your household want to use the app, they can simply download the
app to their device and log in with the same account.
* WILL LITTER-ROBOT 4 CONNECT TO MY WIFI NETWORK?
Litter-Robot 4 requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi signal and IPv4 or IPv6 addressing (5
GHz band not supported). To connect to a shared network (apartment complexes,
college dorms, etc.) provide your unit’s MAC address shown on the QR code
sticker to the shared network administrator.
* WHEN WILL MY LITTER-ROBOT 4 SHIP? WILL I RECEIVE MY CAT LITTER FIRST?
You may receive your cat litter separately from your Litter-Robot 4 and other
accessories.

* CAN LITTER-ROBOT 4 BE USED ON CARPET OR UNEVEN SURFACES?
Yes. However, SmartScale™ technology to record cat weight is most accurate on
a firm surface, not carpeting. If you plan to use Litter-Robot 4 on carpet
that's 3mm+ thick or on uneven flooring, you can improve the accuracy of
SmartScale™ weight readings by purchasing our specially designed Carpet Tray
that sits between the unit and the floor. The carpet tray is not required for
Litter-Robot 4 to function.

* HOW IS SCOOPS SAVED CALCULATED?
For each cycle, the tracker increments the Scoops Saved count by one,
estimating the total number of scoops you’ve avoided. The count may vary with
the occasional cycle that does not scoop litter or cycles that clean up
multiple cat bathroom visits, but on average, each cycle represents one scoop
saved!
* MY SCOOPS SAVED NUMBER DOESN’T LOOK RIGHT; WHAT CAN I DO?
If your scoops saved doesn’t look right you can reset it back to zero by
navigating to your robot settings screen and clicking the option to reset
your scoops saved. Please note resetting your scoops saved cannot be
reversed!

If you have a multi-cat household, I highly recommend a Litter Robot. I
struggled to keep up with scooping 2 - 3 litter boxes multiple times a day.
Both my cats (they’re both clean queens) started using the Litter Robot on
day one. I’m happy that there’s no mess, no smell, and no scooping! My cats
love having a clean litter box every time. If you’re living in a smaller
space or apartment, Litter Robot is a must! It takes the place of having to
manage multiple litter boxes and the robot is very quiet when cycling....

I was kinda skeptical about the litter robot before I did research. I
thought this was kinda scam to trick cat owners to spend more hard earned
money, but as I researched about this brilliant unit. Reading I can use any
clumping litter and cheap trash bags of the right size Long story short not
only is this chore easier on my eyes, but it’s less work. I used to scoop
litter out of two boxes every other day. Now 3-4 days can past before I
need to empty the robot. It’s made life a little bit more easier and

I am so happy with our litter robot. I love my cats but hated the scooping.
Now I o may have to empty the waste three times a week— and there are four
cats using the robot. They all adjusted quickly to using it and seem to

BEST MONEY SPENT EVER!

I was on the fence about purchasing one for about a year. Definitely the
most expensive thing I’ve ever purchased, but I liked it so much I bought
two for my cats and one for my aunt if that tells you anything. I think
it’s well worth the investmentand I’ve saved so much on litter and time....
