MIROVERSE TEMPLATES CHALLENGE: TEAM BUILDING GAMES (DATE EXTENDED)



Hi Miro Community!DEADLINE EXTENDED TO AUGUST 30   🌟🎮  At our 2023 virtual
community event, Into the Miroverse , Said Saddouk perfectly represented this
year’s theme — work happy — with a sensational Miro game-buildilng
demonstration. 🎮🌟   Games in Miro can be used as team icebreakers, kicking off
large meetings, or simply good fun with friends and family to deepen
relationships with people around the globe.   With Said as our esteemed guest
judge, we’re kicking off a Miro game contest! 🏆   Join in the fun for a chance
to showcase your talents and share your favorite games with Miro users far and
wide. At the end, we’ll crown two winners:  One winner of our Judge’s Choice
award will receive an ✨ iPad ✨ One winner of our People’s Choice award will
receive a ✨ 75 $ Amazon gift card ✨   You can submit as many game templates as
you’d like to compete for the top prizes! Pls, each participant who submits a

BOARDS ARE VERY LAGGY AND SLOW ON DESKTOP APP AND WEB APP

Hi, I noticed during the last one week all my boards are very laggy and slow. It
takes up to 5-6 seconds for the board to respond to an interaction. This is
incredibly annoying and looking at the history of this issue - it appears it is
quite a common problem. Please would you look into this and resolving it once
and for all?

MAKE A COPY FEATURE FOR VIEWERS

I have a workshop like activity for my course that I have created in Miro. I
would like my students to view the board and make a copy so that they can
practice that activity. However, I was not able to find this feature after much
research.   Is there any possibility to do this? or is it impossible?

WHEN I REOPEN MY DIAGRAM, THE CONNECTION LINES HAVE MOVED. HOW DO I STOP THIS
FROM HAPPENING?

I have been building a swimlane diagram with lots of nodes and connection
lines.  All lines are currently the elbow type.  I’ve noticed when I close the
diagram and open it later (even after logging out of Miro), the lines are
stretched very high or very low….not at all where I left them.  They are still
connected to the correct node, but this is making the diagram difficult for
developers to follow.  I’ve even locked the lines and that has not solved the
problem.  I’m finding myself spending too much time re-sizing lines.   Any ideas
how to solve this?

HOW TO ADD PDF TO A MIND MAP NODE?

Hello! When will it be possible to attach documents along with the branches? For
instance, I study for competitive exams, and I use MIRO to organize the content.
It would be great if we could attach PDF files to this process. Will that be
possible?

VIEW ABILITY TO HIDE/UNHIDE STICKY NOTES DEPENDING ON TAGIDEA

We would like to be able to hide or unhide sticky notes depending on their
tags.    i.e. if a note was tagged as “Sales”, we would want to be able to hide
all other tags and just show the ones relevant to sales.

SCREEN READER

Hello  Does anyone know if a screen reader can see embedded videos in Miro? 
I’ve looked at the accessibility pages and note the line  “Sticky notes, emojis,
text, shapes and frames are the only objects picked up by screen readers” does
this mean embedded videos will not be accessible?   Thanks in advance  Emma

WEB SDK IMAGE UPLOAD WITH BASE64 ENCRYPTED URL - WILL IT BE CONTINUED OR
DEPRECATED?

Dear Miro-Developer Team,   I absolutely love the feature of uploading images
through the Miro Web SDK as a base64 url. Moreover I have submitted an App that
is already leveraging this workflow. Nevertheless this feature is still
experimental and i wanted to asked to questions regarding that. First of all I
would be interested wether you plan on continuing this upload method? In my
opinion it is a pretty straight forward approach in uploading images and of
course would like to see it being officially implemented in the Web SDK.
Moreover I sometimes notice an error that is thrown especially at connection
loss: Is this rather a random error or might this be something more crucial and
might be a hurdle for the implementation of this feature further down the line?
Looking forward discussing this topic and feature.   Kind regards, Max

FREE PLAN USERS CAN COLLABORATE ON 3 ACTIVE TEAM BOARDS...

Dear community, I have only one board and it’s in the read-only state. Miro says
“Free Plan Users can collaborate on 3 active team boards...”, even though I only
have one board… How can I get the full access?

CANT LOGOUT GOOGLE ACCOUNT FROM MIRO DESKTOP APP

I logged in by mistake with another google account instead of my main account,
so i logged out from that account but when i press log in to use my main
account, it logs in in the wrong account, doesnt give me the option to choose
the google account which i wanna log in.   I tried uninstalling the app and
clearing the windows registry but when i reinstall the app and press log in with
google still auto log me in with the old account
