THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF PHOTOJOURNALISM – VISA POUR L’IMAGE
PERPIGNAN, FRANCE

Visa pour l’Image is a unique event that gathers together thousands of
international photographers who share the passion and love of photography. This
year marks its 36th edition, the goal of this historic and unique festival is to
reinforce the strong values of press photography and to enable the
photojournalism community to share their experience, discuss the challenges and
acknowledge some of the best work done in the previous year.

The Festival Visa pour l’Image also represents an amazing opportunity for up and
coming photojournalists to meet and present their work to some of the biggest
photo and press agencies from around the world.

Portfolio Reviews with International picture editors are available Monday,
September 2 to Saturday, September 7. 10am to 1pm & 3 to 6pm.

CANON AT VISA POUR L’IMAGE

Canon, the global imaging brand, is proud to partner with Visa pour l’Image in
Perpignan, France, for the 35th year running.

Canon supports photography at every level, and at this year’s Visa pour l’Image
we are proud once again to shine a light on some of the best examples of
photojournalism and inspire a younger generation of storytellers to follow in
their footsteps.

Part of the 2024 exhibition program at Visa pour l'Image includes the work of
Canon Ambassador Jérôme Gence who will present his Screen Generation project.
2023 Canon Female Photojournalist grant winner, Anastasia Taylor-Lind, will also
be displaying her grant winning project, 5K From the Frontline.

As part of the Canon Student Development Programme 2024, you will be hosted for
an exclusive four day workshop in Spain concluding with a final night stay in
Perpignan, from August 31st - September 4th. During the event you will have the
opportunity to meet and learn from prominent professionals during guided
exhibition tours, hosted practical sessions and lectures, as well as showcase
your work to and gain peer to peer feedback from some of the industry’s finest
experts during the Portfolio Review sessions.
