CONTINUING EDUCATION SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Home Conferences and Events Continuing Education Submission Instructions

CONTINUING EDUCATION SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

DMEC provides continuing education for our webinars throughout the year. Below
are requirements and submission instructions for each of the designations and
certifications covered. Please note: Not all webinars qualify for CLMS CEUs.
Review each event to determine if it qualifies.

If you registered for and attended a live webinar, you will receive a
certificate of attendance and CEU verification/activity ID codes for the event.
If you registered for a webinar, but did not attend live, you will receive a
link to the webinar recording and will have the opportunity to watch the
recording and earn continuing education.

DMEC CERTIFICATIONS

CERTIFIED LEAVE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (CLMS)

CLMS designees must complete 20 hours of continuing education (CE) credit every
two years and pay for and pass a recertification exam.

If you were a current CLMS designee, or actively enrolled in a CLMS course, on
Jan. 1, 2024, your first recertification period after that date will require 16
CE credits. From that point forward, you must complete the new requirement of 20
CEUs every two years to be eligible to recertify your designation.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMIT CEUS:

 * Log into the DMEC Learning Center and select “My Continuing Education” from
   the dashboard.
 * On the “My Continuing Education” page, you will be able to select the event
type and then search for specific events from the list.
 * To enter your verification code for a particular event, select the “View”
button and then select the “CLMS CEU Code” tab.
 * Enter the verification code and select the “Submit” button.
 * To view your full list of completed CLMS continuing education events, select
“My Transcript” from the left navigation menu.

OTHER CERTIFICATIONS

ASSOCIATE DISABILITY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (ADMS)

and payment to the following address:
    Commission for Case Manager Certification
    Attn: CDMS

four ethics hours every five years.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMIT CEUS:

every three years. This can be done either by accumulating the required
recertification credit hours through professional development or professional
achievement or by testing again to re-earn the  credential.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMIT CEUS:

 1. Log into the HR Certification Institute website.
 2. On the “Your Account” page, select the “Add My Recertification Credits”
    button.
 3. Under the “Professional Development: Pre-Approved” header, select the “Add
    Activity” button on the right.
 4. Copy or type in the “Activity ID” and select the “Search” button.
 5. Confirm the search results are correct and choose the “Selected” button.
 6. Enter the start and end dates for the event, review the information, and
    select the “Submit” button.

SHRM CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL/SENIOR CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)

SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designees must complete recertification every three years by
earning 60 professional development credits (PDCs).

 2. From the certification details dashboard, select the “Add PDCs” button.
