Mining, Exploration and Geoscience Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update October 2021

Mining, Exploration and Geoscience is acutely aware of the ongoing impacts of
the COVID-19 pandemic on industry, and the increased risk to operations and
other activity given the current situation in NSW.

The COVID-19 situation in NSW is dynamic. MEG will continue to support industry
to navigate COVID-19 restrictions during this uncertain time.

MEG has reviewed the response activities policy and an updated policy now
applies. MEG has also developed a fact sheet to support industry, including what
to do in the event of a positive COVID-19 case at an exploration or mine site.

MEG will continue to provide advice to industry in relation to changing public
health orders as the situation unfolds.
