Our gatherings begin with a time of worship, to invite the presence of the
Lord.  Following that is a time of prayer.  Our prayer time is focused primarily
on a few things.

Awakening and revival in the Church

Healing of our nation / governments

Reaching our community for Jesus

On occasion, we will head out after the prayer time to minister in the
community.  At hospitals, shelters, or any other place the Lord leads.

WHAT IS INTENTS MINISTRIES?




ABOUT US



Over the years our hearts have become more and more grieved by the division and
disunity in the Church of Jesus Christ.  We are divided into many different
denominations, divided by theology, race, culture and politics, among many other
things.  We long to see the Church united and walking in the power in which God
intended.

Our desire is to see believers come together in unity, with no regard to any of
these divisions.  We believe that when the Church is unified, many will be
reached for the Kingdom of God.  We believe that deliverance, restoration,
healing and salvation will become the norm in our services and in our lives.



In order to achieve this, we believe that unified, consistent and passionate
prayer for revival is the number one priority.  Following at a close second is
to go out into the world around us to share the gospel of the Kingdom and to
share the love of Christ.

 

As an answer to this desire InTents Ministries was born.  The purpose of this
ministry is to unite the body of Christ in our area to pray for revival for the
individual as well as the Church body and to pray for and minister to our
community,



HERE’S WHAT WE DECIDED TO DO:.

 * Connect the churches in our area to gather monthly for worship, prayer and
   fellowship. Meetings will typically take place on the second Saturday of each
   month.  Meeting locations will rotate in order to reach different areas of
   our community.

 

 * Serve our community with the love of Jesus

 

 * Support the ministry efforts of our partner churches

 



OUR NAME

How did we decide upon the name InTents Ministries?  It’s in remembrance of the
TENT revivals of the past and in anticipation of the TENT revivals to come.  We
believe that great revival is coming to the Church of Jesus.  We want to be
right in the middle of it!

 

KEY SCRIPTURES

A couple passages of scripture are key in our hearts as we take this journey.



FOR OUR WORSHIP AND PRAYER MEETINGS:

And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness
in preaching your word.  Stretch out your hand with healing power; may
miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant
Jesus.”

                                                                                                      
Acts 4:29-30

 

FOR OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH:

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become
children of
God.                                                                                           
John 1:12



 
 


WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in one God, existing in three eternal persons

   The Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Bible is the perfect word of God

We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life

We believe that Jesus died on a cross to pay the penalty for sin

We believe that He rose from the grave three days later

We believe that He ascended back to heaven

We believe that He sent the Holy Spirit to indwell and empower us

We believe that He will return again to set up His kingdom on earth

We believe that He is the only way to heaven
