Police responded for a report of a shot fired at the above location and group of
suspects fleeing in a vehicle. Police located the vehicle and arrested five
suspects. A bullet casing and another live round were located at the scene.
Police also recovered two handguns. No one was injured and no property was
damaged.
ARRESTED: Cameron Shalcosky-Proctor, 29, of Columbia; two juvenile males, 16, of
Glen Burnie; juvenile male, 16, of Baltimore; and juvenile male, 17, of
Columbia, all charged with various weapon violations

Pike, April 13 8:40 p.m.
An employee reported that four suspects with their faces partially covered
entered the business, displayed guns and stole cash and merchandise before
fleeing. No one was injured. Police later located the suspects in a stolen
vehicle and arrested three of them.
ARRESTED:  Two juvenile males, 15, and a juvenile male, 16, all of Columbia,
charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft, and motor vehicle theft

Attempted Carjacking and Robbery – ARRESTS
Columbia, 21044: 10800 block of Green Mountain Circle, April 7 8:00 a.m.
A male victim reported that a male suspect approached him while he was in his
vehicle and displayed a handgun. The victim fled in his vehicle. No one was
injured. A second male victim reported he was outside his vehicle when he was
approached by several suspects, one of whom threatened him with a handgun, who
demanded his phone and keys. The suspects attempted to flee in the victim’s
vehicle but ultimately left without it. No one was injured.

Columbia, 21044: 10400 block of Waterfowl Terrace, April 7 8:20 a.m.
Two victims reported five unknown suspects approached them, displayed a weapon,
assaulted one of the victims and fled with their electronics and bags.

ARRESTS: Police have arrested five teens as a result of the above incidents.
Three juvenile males and two juvenile females, ages 14 and 15, of Baltimore
City, are being charged with armed robbery, carjacking and related charges.

Several juvenile males were involved in a street robbery at the above location
and later that day a home invasion/assault in the 5500 block of Mystic Court. No
serious injuries were reported. Police believe the victims/suspects are
acquaintances.

A store employee reported that two male suspects with their faces partially
covered entered the store, possibly displayed a gun, and stole cigarettes and

Police responded for a report of suspects entering a vacant room on the property

Police investigating fatal collision involving a pedestrian – February 10, 2024

Howard County police are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian
in Clarksville overnight.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., a 2024 Toyota Corolla was travelling westbound when
it struck a pedestrian walking in the travel portion of the roadway.

The pedestrian, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Corolla remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Westbound lanes of Route 32 were closed for approximately three hours.

POLICE INVESTIGATING SINGLE-VEHICLE COLLISION INVOLVING A SCHOOL BUS – FEBRUARY
8, 2024


Howard County police are investigating a single-vehicle collision in Columbia in
which a school bus overturned.

At approximately 3:33 p.m. police responded to the 7300 block of Old Columbia
Road for an overturned school bus. The bus was traveling northbound when it left
the roadway for an unknown reason. No other vehicles were involved. There were
no indications of driver impairment.

Of the 19 Hammond Middle School students on the bus, two males and two females,
ages 11-14, were transported to the hospital for a checkup. The driver, a
30-year-old female, was not injured.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
