How this web site works The Bibliophile Bookbase lists several million
antiquarian, rare, used, out-of-print, facsimile and new books, maps and prints.
These are offered for sale by independent booksellers around the world. When you
make an enquiry or order books using our shopping cart, your enquiry or order
goes directly to the bookseller or booksellers who have listed the books. They
will contact you directly regarding availability, postage and payment options.
You pay the real postage, not an arbitrary, additional cost.

Bibliophile Rare Books Gallery

Be sure to bookmark our web site - we will soon be adding a pictorial rare books
gallery where rare books in many categories will be described and displayed.
These will include top of the range antiquarian books and manuscripts plus
modern firsts, fine maps, prints - the best that the international book market
has to offer. Remember, there are no price mark-ups on this web site: all books
are offered at the dealers' list prices.

 

Detailed Search by author, title or keyword. The complete on-line stock of every
bookseller listing on the Bibliophile Bookbase will be checked for books
matching your search criteria. You can order a book or books using our shopping
cart and your purchase orders will be automatically e-mailed directly to the
booksellers. A copy of your order will be sent to you. Or you can use the
Enquire button to e-mail the bookseller with your queries about a book of
interest. Bibliophile Bookbase does not charge a commission on your purchase.
You pay the booksellers' own list prices.

If you cannot find the book you are searching for, choose the Login Page
registration option to enter your address details. You can then add or edit your
own list of Wants and you will be informed by e-mail as soon as a match is
entered into our database. Registering also means that you won't have to
re-enter your address details every time you visit Bibliophile Bookbase and buy
a book. Needless to say, it's free. Of course, you don't have to register to use
the our book search and ordering system. Registering simply makes it easier.

If you are already a registered buyer, you can go to Login Page and use your
personal Login ID and Password to activate your address details and facilitate
ordering books or editing your Wants list. You can also recall your registration
details while using our shopping cart.

Do you prefer to view a catalogue, or to browse or search the stock of a
particular bookseller? Locate your bookseller in our directory of Bookshops and
use the bookseller-specific search or browse page.

Are you a bookseller who would like to sell utilising our database or to leave a
list of Wants? Click the Sell Books link above and enter a subscription request.

If you are a bookseller already registered with Bibliophile Bookbase, choose the
Login Page bookseller login option to up-load or edit your books for sale or
Wants lists.
