Hi there i recently re-installed gears of war and played it for some time
without a problem but all of a sudden i can't log into my account anymore. Well
it's not just the online part but i can't get games for windows client to open
inside the game! When i log in it says that no user is logged in so as usual i
press F1 button but nothing happens!press the guide tab.again nothing happens! I
was just playing the game ONLINE like 30 mins ago.now i can't go online ofc or
even play offline without my account!

That's not the problem. I was wondering what the process was for actually
creating an offline profile. In game, the option is never given to do so. What I
see so far is the 'Gamer Profile' at the bottom of the main screen, and when I

Solved: Hi, After I had installed Alteryx Designer, I had selected

Alright, I wanted to give 3CX a spin in order to form my own opinion about the
system. The install was simple. I spun up a Server 2012 R2 VM with Core + GUI
and joined it to my domain. I then installed 3CX and it turned on the IIS role
and configured itself with no problems. It took me a minute to figure out how to
add a customer VoIP provider (voip.ms) because I was looking at the menu on the
left and the main box on the right.

I missed the header strip above each page at first, but after I found it, that
went smooth. I like how it sets up with their own STUN server easily for
extensions as my server was in a collocation space and my phone was in my home
office. This meant I would not need to deal with a VPN, simply port forwarded a
couple ports. I had to use google to figure out how to use the autoprovisioning
with a Yealink T38, but again it only took a minute. After that I rebooted the
phone and was making calls.

Things went south from there. I had already noticed that I was unable to select
email delivery for my voicemail.

Next I noticed when I hit the DND soft key, my phone showed DND but 3CX status
said DND was off, I tried to hit *61 manually and was promptly told that this is
not a feature available in 3CX Free edition. Next I wanted to make a default IVR
simply saying Press 1 for Jared Press 2 for Bob, etc.

Nope sorry that feature is not available in Free Edition. At that point I said
screw it and decided to type up this post. I will be removing the VM tomorrow.
We tried it too.

The free edition was too crippled for anything but a basic calling demo. Maybe
okay for home use. But I can't imagine any business using it. It is truly only
for the desperate. The paid version too wasn't up to par with other options.

Much better, but lacked some connectivity and extensibility options and was too
hard to use and costs too much in licensing even imagining that it were free. We
found that 3CX was too costly and too difficult to manage and configure and too
inflexible to realistically 'bubble to the top' in nearly any case. We tried it
too. The free edition was too crippled for anything but a basic calling demo.
Maybe okay for home use. But I can't imagine any business using it.

edition with a power dialer and campaigner solution that in almost every other
system we looked out was extremely cost prohibitive. We tested 42 different
software based voip platforms and felt very confident in out selection of 3CX
and 3CX Multiteant as our primary premise and cloud solution. I would definitely
recommend getting a demo key to test a full version.

If you need help getting one let me know. The free edition does look like more

command line knowledge though, basic system administration can be difficult -
not necessarily with the PBX related stuff, but for instance installing a new
NIC. It might not work. I had to download an compile the drivers myself.

And of course it didn't work right, and I had to make a small change than
recompile, etc etc. There aren't many Windows phone systems out there, so 3CX

I don't disagree that asterisk offers a better value. It is after all, free.
Which was more or less my point. Its hard to beat free, provided you get what
you need from it.

What I was getting at is that open source and closed source companies have
different business models, and I don't think you can really fault either one of
them for it. Closed source projects have to employ programmers, and they have to
make money to make up for this. It just isn't in their best interest to make a
usable product that is also free. Companies that are open source have a
different agenda. They want to get paid for support, training, etc.

This fits, because usually open source project support forums are filled mostly
with people asking questions and not many (qualified people) answering. The paid
support is there to give you real and qualified answers. Depending on the
specific application / project, you might spend more money on an open source
project over a closed source one. I'm not saying that is true with Elastix - I
honestly have no idea yet.

I'm still doing a lot of work to get off the ground here, and I haven't made up
my mind. I'll be perfectly honest. Elastix and the other asterisk distros have
quite a few rough edges. So far, nothing major, but there were a lot of things
that took quite some time to get figured out. I had a yum update wipe overwrite
my amprotal.conf file, I had to run amportal chown after the last update. You
talked about VM's, but getting elastix to run in a Hyper-V VM is not easy with a
2.4.iso.

You have to install into virtualbox and rebuild the ramdisk image (mkinitrd).
Or, you can just install directly from 2.3 and do a yum update.

Additionally, the timing in a host based VM sort of sucks with Linux, and they
still haven't ironed out all the issues there (but its much better than it was).
To some people, these little things are major headaches. I've dealt with most of
them OK, and I've put up with them because it is free.

On the other hand, however, if I were to run in to too many bugs, or important
unsolvable bugs. I'd throw my hands up in the air, say f*** it, and pay for
something like switchvox or 3cx, provided it worked without too many hiccups.

I see you found a solution already, but the answer to your original question is
that the game needs to support hard drive installation. If it is designed to
only boot from floppy, then generally there will be no way to run it other than
booting from floppy images. If the game supports hard drive installation, what
you need to do is create a new hard drive image using the emulator, format it
and install DOS on it. (If it's too much trouble, then just take an existing
hard drive image that already has DOS installed and delete the files for the
game that's currently on it.) Make sure the hard drive image is large enough for
the game you want to install.

After you install Windows 10, there is an option in the system preferences to do
a fresh install. Do not do this.

Windows license key for the Y500 is stored in the bios. In order for the machine
to boot. It requires the factory disk partition to be as shipped.

There are ways to get your license key from the OS, format the whole drive, and
then install Windows 7. Thus, getting around this issue. Anyhow, since I had not
removed the partition set up, I figured doing a 'fresh install' of Windows 10
post update was possible. It is not, the machine will refuse to find the boot
partition.

The good news is that OneTouch restore works just fine after this happens. The
bad news is it reverts you all the way back to Windows 8. Since my license key
is updated for use on Windows 10 now, I should be able to update using the
methods that Windows 7 users used to install that on thier system. I'm not so
sure I want to be the first person to test this theory. That all being said,
gaming performance for DX11 games is massively increased on my 650m SLI set up.
That alone justifies migrating to Windows 10.

It doesn't really matter if they're supporting the Y5xx series past 8.1. Lenovo
doesn't make any of the drivers for the laptops.

The motherboard chipset is supported by Intel and NVIDIA already supports the
GPUs in DX 12. The only possible issues are the trackpad or the integrated
audio. For me, the trackpad is irrelevant. It's quality is so bad, I set up a
registry key that enabled a checkbox to completely disable it when a mouse is
plugged in (which is always). Realtec support for their drivers is fine, even if
the chip itself could use some improvement. The Y5xx laptops are so 'stock' in
their hardware, with some technical expertise you can install OS X on them. I
don't worry about any operating system having issues running on them.

Lenovo not supporting them on Win 10 just means you can't ask them for help when
something goes wrong. You can ask Intel and NVIDIA, so it doesn't matter.

I have had my 510p on windows 10 for around two months and I love it. The
performance increase alone is worth it. Actually installing windows 10 made
drivers a lot easier. And SLI still works. OneKey Recovery, I'm not sure about.

To be honest I didn't use it on windows 8, but everything else transferred over
that was installed, I would just do the upgrade and not remove your apps. I
think it's worth a shot. Let me know how it goes! Edit- as far as the touchpad
goes, it doesn't suck anymore than it normally does.

And wifi works fine. If you turn Bluetooth off on the card, but that's been my
remedy since win8 • • • •. The internal_power_error is easy to fix. Rap file for
ps2 classics cfw. Just boot in, quickly go to device manager, disable the AMD
video card, and install the latest driver from the y40-80 website. I have a
y40-70, and after doing a full reset my graphics performance is pretty poor.

About half the framerate on most games actually. Kind of worries, I hope Lenovo
puts out more updated drivers. EDIT: Just checked the AMD website, they have new
drivers up as of 2 days ago. More recent than the ones posted by Lenovo so I'll
test it out tonight. I have a question, and perhaps someone here can answer it.
I have a Y-580, no ssd drive.

I installed Win 10 the other day without apparent problems using the Media
Creation Tool. I simply choose update this pc now button. It went smoothly, but
the main reason I did this was for a clean install of all the software and junk
accumlated over the years.

I then restarted, F12 and boot from usb. I went and did a clean install,
choosing the primary partition and formatting it. Also, I deleted the recovery
drive, and formatted what else I could, and deleted them so they would join the
larger drive. After restarting, and taking the usb thing out in time all seemed
well. However, this is where my question is. Everything appears to work well,
the mouse, the camera, Nvidia drivers have been installed.

The computer is free of pratically everything save what windows needs to run.
Yet, when I go to device manager, I see 'other devices' and 'base system
device', is missing the appropiate driver. The lenovo website does not offer
drivers for windows 10 yet. What device is this for? Do I need to install all
the drivers one by one? Everything seems to be working fine??? WHAT DOES THIS
MEAN!?!?
