WELCOME TO THE COROWA TENNIS CLUB



The count down is on to our 94th Annual Easter Tournament.

Played on our 4 synthetic and 4 grass courts, it’s a great part of the Easter
culture in Corowa.   

Entries to the tournament are now open. 2024 Entry form.

OUR CLUB HAS A RICH HISTORY

With over 90 years of running a fabulous Easter Tournament and names such as Sam
Groth playing tennis at our club (as a junior) we certainly have a lot of tennis
to chat about.




COMPETITIONS & COACHING



JUNIOR COACHING

.The club offers coaching for juniors (school age & up) on a Monday afternoon
via the generosity of volunteers over school terms 1 (not all of term 1) & 4. 
In 2024 coaching will stay on Monday afternoons at 4pm.  The coaching lasts for
an hour. Kids are asked to bring their own racquet, hats and drink bottles. Keep

SATURDAY COMPETITIONS

The 2023/23 Season commences late October (TBC) with Section 1 entering 1 team
and 2 in the Junior competition. Section 1 plays Saturday afternoon’s and travel
is involved. 

Under 15’s play on Saturday morning’s and for the 2023/24. Travel is involved to
Wahgunyah and Rutherglen and play commences at 9am.

TWILIGHT COMPETITIONS

Is played on Wednesday evenings at 6pm and commences each year in February
running for 6 to 8 weeks and then again in November for 6 to weeks.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!



We are thrilled that our club has something to offer the most serious player,
the casual player and all those in between. Our juniors are showing immense
talent and our sub-juniors who start from school age are certainly keeping the
coaches on their toes. Wtih kids sport on the radar of governments and schools
we are pleased that we can offer a broad range of abilities the opportunity to
learn and participate in this great game.

tennis coaching for all school aged children on Monday afternoons from 4pm to
5pm in terms 1 & 4.

ABOUT US

The Corowa Lawn Tennis Club has a rich history as part of the Corowa & district
community. In summer months the club is a hive of activity on Wednesday nights
for our Twilight competition and Saturdays for our junior & senior competitions.
In winter our courts are used for regular social tennis games whilst our club
house is open to hire for functions all year round.
