ASCO UNVEILS 2024-2027 STRATEGIC PLAN

The refreshed plan outlines priorities to develop our team, drive system
leadership and advance clinical and operational excellence.

Engaging with the ASCO community was fundamental to the development of a
refreshed Strategic Plan. Through a combination of focus groups, interviews, and
surveys, ASCO engaged over 165 individuals, exploring what they believe ASCO
should prioritize in the years ahead to enable sustainable success.

THE YORK REGION WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT CENTRE

Addiction Services Central Ontario (ASCO), in partnership with Caritas School of
Life and the Krasman Centre, with funding from Ontario’s Addictions Recovery
Fund, is pleased to announce the pilot launch of a new withdrawal management

PRESCRIPTION OPIOIDS: WHAT PARENTS & CAREGIVERS NEED TO KNOW

Bottom Line What are prescription opioids?  When used appropriately,
prescription opioids can be very effective in treating severe pain.  There are
two types of opioid medications:  Unfortunately, these medications are also now

COMMUNITY IMPACT FOR 2020/21

More than 25,400 visits by clients in the last fiscal year.

We helped 373 people look for affordable housing.

300 individuals received counselling for problem gambling.
