TRANSFORMING THE SO CALLED „GREEN ENERGY“ INTO REAL GREEN ENERGY. The aim to increase profitability took the industrial sector to a point of destroying the future nature of the upcoming generations. We know that we are the generation that needs to stop this. RIGHT NOW! It is not our goal to resist against the progress. Of course we need progress in technologies but we also need progress in making them environmental friendly. The most difficult part in our vision to become the most innovative supplier for sustainability solutions is to keep the transformation of technology ongoing while increasing the sustainability at the same time. To begin with this dream, we support the automotive industry with it‘s most disruptive transformation in history. The electrification. With our highly automated and impressive hazard reduced recycling process for lithium-ion batteries we help battery producers and automotive producers to improve the CO2 footprint, increase their profits and make them independent. CONCEPTION After the identification of the problem and its source, it is time to generate some conceptual solutions and choose the best concept that is validated. ACTION This is the most critical step. It is the step that separates the wheat from the chaff. Doing whatever is necessary to transform the concept into reality. While the demand for lithium-ion batteries is increasing exponentially the required resources are limited leading to a twofold demand to supply in 2050. However, while further increased efforts for mining and raw material extraction might resolve some demand issues, it also introduces high levels of pollution, safety concerns, equality, inclusion, and social responsibility issues all around the globe. However, to minimize further mining needs, we as Niocycle want to change the ecosystem and business environment by imposing circular economy strategies. Thus, Niocycle's main objective is to innovate sustainable and profitable technologies and our primary step is the implementation and roll-out of a highly efficient and environmentally friendly lithium-ion battery recycling process for batteries from electrical vehicles but also notebooks, mobile phones and other devices.
