STURDY RACK SYSTEM, THOUGH INSTALL IS NOT "EASY"
These racks are sturdy! Well made, powder coated & nicely finished. Install
does take a few hours... mostly because instructions can be vague. My spouse
& I installed them without a professional (and we are not super-handy
people,) but it did take us 3-4 hours. Finished product is fantastic! Costco
price is below retail - especially great value with the hook/accessory
package included. I wish they offered different sizes through Costco (as
offered on the manufacturers web site.)
These racks shipped directly from the manufacturer - arrived very quickly!
(They were delivered via FedEx Ground within 3 business days, after placing
the order.)

SO GREAT, I'V BOUGHT 3 SETS OVER THE PAST 12 MONTH
I bought my first set September 2017, the instructions made them way to
difficult to install. I am handy so I put them up how I knew they should
have been and in about an hour the 2 racks were up. 2 of the actual racks
were bent, but a quick call to the manufacture and they sent me 4 for free.
In Jan I got 2 more, no issues and love my extra storage space. In May, 2
more and only actually had room for one 4x8 rack, but still worth the money.
The box was a couple bolts short, but I called the manufacture and they
overnighted me a full set of nuts and bolts. I recommend these racks to
anyone who needs space, or might need space in the future.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, STURDY, INSTALLED MYSELF
Overall an excellent product. The instructions are straight forward and with
basic handyman skills you can install these without issue. All the hardware
is high quality and was happy with how the installation went. I always
"test" products especially something like this where its going over my head
holding weight! After installing the rack I reached up and grabbed the
corner and raised my feed, basically putting all 210 lbs. of myself on 1
corner of the rack. It held without issue and did not bow the top mounting
brace the least.
Overall happy with the quality. Installation was smooth and done with basic
hand tools, would recommend!

WELDS ON RACK BROKEN OUT OF BOX. COMPANY NO HELP
Installed these and overall ok. But the last step is to put the wire racks
in. One of the 2 racks had all 4 racks had missed the welds on the
supporting piece been the rack. Without the welds the rack can’t handle much
weight at all. Like pushing on a screen door.
As I had already installed everything, wrote the company directly and they
have been completely unresponsive. I might end up paying a neighbor to weld
the racks back to make them functional but it won’t be pretty.
If the company bothers to contact me I’ll update this review but as of today
they have quality control and customer service issues. Would not recommend.

TWO 4X8 RACKS
My dad and I just installed two 4x8 racks in the garage of my new home. We
have 10' ceilings so we installed them with a 3' drop. Installation we
somewhat time consuming but it was pretty easy. My dad can do anything, so
that helped, a lot! We took our time, didn't rush and it took around 4
hours. I would have cost $250 to go through Costco have them installed. Glad
we did this project together and saved the money. I'll be buying some
smaller racks for some additional storage. Costco & saferacks are awesome!
Side Note: pay attention to the instructions the best you can. They aren't
the best written instructions around.....

MISSING COMPONENTS - VERY DISSAPPOINTING
Let me start by saying, I have NEVER purchased anything from Costco that is
as displeasing as this product. I was very excited to purchase this product
as it appeared to be the solution for organizing my garage space (bikes,
bins, boxes etc). The product arrived quickly in 2 seperate boxes, both
boxes contained identical pieces. I arranged for professional installation
today. Upon opening the boxes there were several missing pieces, namely:
4 Vertical Post, 4 Ceiling Brackets and the Center Support parts. The
product can not be installed without these parts. We had to purchase
additional parts from a hardware store for a successful installation.

KEEPS A LOT OF STUFF OFF THE FLOOR
The kit was delivered on time and was as described. The packaging is
somewhat bulky - the support brackets came in a 10 foot (about) long
cardboard container which was very unwieldy for one person. Installation of
the two 8' shelves was performed by two professionals with power tools and
took about two hours. We installed the 4' x 8' kit which notes a 600 lb load
limit. With about half that load the unit seemed to be slightly bowed in the
center (note: heavier items were not in the center) - I'm not sure if I
trust it to hold 600 lbs.
All in all the installation went pretty smoothly and initial indications are
that the shelves will work out nicely.

TERRIBLE PACKAGING, NOT AS HIGH QUALITY AS I HOPED
I know everyone raves about these HIGH quality storage racks, but that's not
what I received. From the start two of the racks were damaged and if these
are so sturdy, I feel this shouldn't have happened!! In my kit comes the lag
bolts from SafeRacks, I received 3 bent ones that truly couldn't be used -
not only the bolt was bent but the head on these stopped me from even
trying. They sent me new panels and even those are bent, their packaging is
not up to par, needs better packages instead of having a bunch of bent and
broken panels. It truly is no fun to start on a project of this caliber and
have to pick it back up multiple times to finish.
