CALLAWAY PARADYM PICTURES POSTED ON REDDIT

Photos of Callaway’s 2023 Driver have surfaced the internet… The Paradym Triple
Diamond is most likely the driver that will be used amongst most PGA Tour
Players. Triple Diamonds in the past are typically fade bias and lower spin. The
“Forged Carbon” term is interesting, not quite what that provides golfer but we
hope to have more information soon.

STEALTH HD DRIVER: WHY THIS DRIVER COULD FIX YOUR SLICE!

Are you one of the many golfers that struggle with a slice? Are you finding it
difficult to make the necessary swing changes to start hitting the coveted high
draw? TaylorMade may have the solution for you!

Early this year in January, TaylorMade released their very popular Stealth
lineup of clubs. The main thing was the driver, which included the Stealth Plus,
Stealth, and the hidden gem: the Stealth HD. All three are very good drivers and
they all include the brand new 60x carbon face as well as TaylorMade’s famous
twist face technology. The Stealth HD is the one that could help you out with
your slice.

The Stealth HD driver is the draw-biased version of the Stealth lineup, and
after fitting many different people of many different skill levels I can
confidently say that this helps fix the slice, and even produce a nice, high
baby draw off the tee. The reason why this driver is not as well known as the
others is because in the past, draw-biased drivers have been very unforgiving
and did not produce very good ball speeds, leading to less distance. TaylorMade
has fixed this, meaning that the changes that needed to be made to produce the
right spin numbers for a draw now do not affect anything else in a negative way.

This driver is now the most forgiving out of all three, meaning that off-center
hits will not be as bad as with other drivers. This should help you find more
fairways and on average hit the ball further, aiding you to shoot lower scores.
On top of that, this driver has the highest MOI of any driver in the Stealth
lineup, meaning that on average it will produce a higher ball speed with every
shot.

If you find that you are unable to fix the slice that has been bothering you for
a while now, then this may be the solution. This could help to fix your slice
without you having to change too much in your swing and struggling off the tee
for much longer. The Stealth HD Driver is available here.

BEST GOLF CHRISTMAS GIFTS OF 2022!

Looking for a golf-related gift for a friend or loved one this holiday season
but do not know where to start? Not to worry! Here we have a list of some of the
best golf gifts for the holidays!

Golf balls – One of the best gifts that a golfer can ever receive is golf balls!
We will never have enough of them, and they are something that we will always
need to continue playing. Many solid options are available, but the most loved
among all golfers are the Titleist ProV1 or the TaylorMade TP5. Both and more
options are available on our website here.

Rangefinders – A great addition to any golf bag for golfers of any skill level
is a rangefinder. Although there are many great options and all of them will be
good, we personally recommend the Bushnell Tour V5 Shift or the Blue Tees Golf
Series 2 Pro+. More options available on our website here.

Golf bag – As golfers, we need a golf bag to carry our clubs in, and it will get
torn up and ugly especially if they are regularly in use. It is always nice to
have a brand new golf bag to throw the clubs in, so we can arrive at the course
looking good! As they say: Look good, play good. Our favorite bag this year is
the Titleist Players 4 Stand Bag, although many great options are available
here.

Headcovers – Protecting the most important golf clubs in the bag such as the
putter, driver, or fairway woods is essential so they do not get scratched up or
even break. Everyone has their own headcovers that mean a lot to them, and most
of the time those are just gifts from their loved ones! These can be kept for
many years, so they are a great gift to give! You can look through many great
choices here, but one of our new favorite releases is the Puebla Golf Serape
headcover series.

Garmin Approach R10 – One of the hottest golf items of the last 2 years has been
the Garmin Approach R10. This wonderful launch monitor has allowed avid golfers
to take their game to the next level by telling them exactly how far they are
hitting the ball, as well as other helpful statistics. This can be used anywhere
as it is portable and light, and is a great tool to help aid golfers who are
looking to improve and become more precise. It is now on sale and in stock on
our website here.

Hats – A golfer can never have enough hats! It is likely something that we will
use every single time we go play, and we love to style them meaning there is no
such thing as enough hats! They come in many different colors and styles, so
pick something that you think they will like and that matches their style.
Browse different styles here.

Push Cart – Is the person you are wanting to gift someone that regularly walks
when they play golf? If so, this is the perfect gift for them! A push cart will
make it so that they do not get tired and they can play better golf for a longer
period of time. Our personal favorite is the Clicgear Model 4.0 Push cart.

We have many other great options for gifts on our website, and many of them are
even on sale! Check it out at https://www.fairwaygolfusa.com/

WHY IS MIURA IRONS SO SPECIAL?

Miura irons are the culmination of passion, dedication, challenge and
craftsmanship of a journey which began by Katsuhiro Miura.

In Feb of 1977, Katsuhiro Miura began his quest to create the ideal golf clubs.
His search for the idea club head started with the ideal forged material and
shape. In 1991, he developed the process which was the beginning of the Miura’s
WDD Accurate Forged process.

See Miura irons at fairwaygolfusa.com

With the new forging process which was more efficient, productive and precise,
Miura grew its business providing OEM heads for golf companies.

But Mr. Miura was not satisfied in creating heads from other people’s designs.
In 1994, he designed his own ideal iron heads called the MG Original Heads.
There were 4 different varieties of head designs catered to different types of
golfers.

The key to Miura golf equipment is the expertise and experience of the
craftsman. Many heads today are produced in a mass production facility and heads
are designed by CAD. But what differentiates Miura golf clubs are the fine
details, the curves, the feel, the looks, the aesthetics, the image of the ball
flight, the confidence that inspires the golfer when he picks up the golf clubs.

Miura golf clubs are a result of pursuit of perfection. And the pursuit will
never end. Many golfers say Miura golf clubs are the best in the world. But no
one can really say exactly what makes it so perfect. You have to look at the
whole package and that’s what makes it a Miura.

See Miura irons at fairwaygolfusa.com

Since 2018, Miura has expanded its global presence. Miura golf equipment has
been available in many select golf shops around the world. Yet they are not
after mass production. Their main focus remains to be to provide the finest
quality and performing heads to golfer around the world.

We, Fairway Golf in San Diego, offers custom options to build custom irons to
provide the best Miura golf club to the golfers. By selecting the proper shaft
and grip, Miura golf equipment is complete to bring the best performance out of
the golfers.

Miura offers many head designs for different types of player. Check out the
current Miura iron selection from below:

About Fujikura:

Fujikura’s mission is to produce the world’s best performance golf shaft and
bring enjoyment to all golfers.

Fujikura uses their proprietary ENSO 3-D system to capture motion of the club
head and shaft before and after impact and uses the data to designs the best
performing shaft for the golfers’ swing types.

The company was founded in 1973 in Japan. Since then, golfers have enjoyed the
technology such as: Fit on! shafts, Speeder shafts, Rombax shafts, Motore
shafts, MCI and much more!

The New Ventus shafts have been a smash hit providing long, straighter and more
consistent drives around the world.

About Folds of Honor:

Folds of Honor is an organization started by Lt Col Rooney in 2007 providing
life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or

first responders.

more detail: https://foldsofhonor.org/

About Ventus TR:

The new Ventus TR shafts provides ultimate stability with the use of the
Velocore technology.

Through the analysis of shaft performance using the ENSO 3-D system, they found
out that the shaft undergoes tremendous stress in the middle to the butt section
during the transition of the swing. With the use of the new Spread Tow carbon
wrapped in the middle to the butt section of the shaft, it reduces twist and
ovalization of the shaft during the swing.

THE MEANEST SHAFT I HAVE SEEN SO FAR… VENTUS BLACK TR

Low spin, low launch… this is such a common shaft characteristic sought out for
many players. Whether or not someone needs it is another story

Here at Fairway we have a regular customer, we’ll name him Player A, that can
get his driver swing speed up to 140 mph. At that speed it is very difficult to
control spin. I know the simple solution would be to copy Bryson DeChambeau’s
driver specs and put it in Player A’s hands, but trust me we have tried. LA Golf
shafts are such an amazing product, but they did not knock off spin for him.

We go through many shafts for Player A at different tipping lengths as well. For
those that do not know, cutting a shaft from the head end makes it stiffer flex.
Roughly, chopping off half an inch will take the shaft to the next stiffest
flex. Cutting one inch off the tip of a regular flex shaft could potentially
make it play like an extra stiff shaft.

My experience with the Fujikura Ventus collection has been solid. I like the
feel of the Ventus Black 7X, I swing it at 115 mph and for me it doesn’t feel
too stiff, which I like. So when Player A came to me asking for the Ventus Black
TR 8X, I was hesitant. With my Ventus Black 7X feeling like a stiff pool noodle,
I couldn’t imagine anything named Ventus was going to work for Player A.

We got the Ventus Black TR 8X in for Player A to try out. We agreed to tipping
it two inches and throwing it in his Stealth Plus 8* head knocked down to the
lowest setting. His previous game is a Tensei Pro 1K White tipped two inches. On
average this Ventus Black TR 8X has reduced his backspin 300 rpms. Instead of
hovering around 2400, Player A is now consistently in the 2100 zone even with
the mishits, which is huge.

If you are looking for a board and the lowest spin shaft, I high recommend you
take a look at the Ventus Black TR HERE!

I NEED HELP SELECTING A GOLF BALL…

A golf ball can make or break a golfers game. With the right inner core
construction, a player can gain distance off the tee with driver, or gain
tremendous greenside spin with a particular outer core. The predicament most
players will come across after testing all golf balls… you can’t have it all in
one ball. There are usually two dilemmas:

 1. Full swing mishits do not veer too far offline, but there is a lack of spin
    around the greens
 2. You feel an advantage around the greens (especially if you are short sided),
but the mishits are penalized with a ball that travels very far offline

At the highest level, most golfers will usually prioritize the greenside spin
since a bogey can really make or break a career. These types of golfers usually
spend a lot of time perfecting their full swing AND short game.

At the retail level, we often tell players to play a spinier ball because it’s
going to increase their chances at saving par when they miss the green. Should
we start encouraging lower spinning balls so that their mishits have a better
shot at heading towards the flag? After all, most are not spending a couple
hours chipping, so why not give a ball that compliments their full swing?

Recently, I played a round with the Callaway ChromeSoft X LS. I usually play the
Srixon Z Star XV, but I felt that my driver performance has been lacking. I love
the greenside spin and iron performance with the Srixon XV, but that part of my
game is pointless of complimenting if I keep blasting my tee shots Out of
Bounds. Off the get go with the ChomeSoft X LS, my driver flight was not
ballooning and it was noticeably faster off the face. Even my good driver swings
with the Srixon XV did not go as fast. I believe this was the “LS” (low spin)
showing its characteristics. My iron play is probably the best part of my game,
and even my iron shots were staying straighter than usual. So I was hitting more
fairways, longer, and iron yardages stayed the same while staying online.
HOWEVER, on the chip shots, the ChromeSoft X LS did not check as much as the
Srixon ball I was used to… so there is that dilemma I was mentioning.

I know what you’re thinking, “Then go with the ChromeSoft X, the non LS
version.” I did that. The performance of the ChromeSoft X around the greens was
closer to what I was used to, but the driver and iron performance did not amaze
me like the LS did. Jon Rahm and Sam Burns use the ChromeSoft X, while Xander
Schauffle is using a prototype ChromeSoft X. At the beginning of the season they
were all in the LS due to how good the driver action was, but I am assuming the
greenside performance did not satisfy their taste buds. For them, getting up and
down for par is huge. For a regular player, increasing the amount of birdie putt
chances can make the game more enjoyable than missing green all day and making
pars.

But that’s just my take… LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

NEW HONMA TW757 S AND D DRIVERS: WHY THIS COULD CHANGE THE DRIVER GAME

The new Honma TW757 S and D drivers introduce new technology that we have never
seen before in any other driver. They aim to make you hit more fairways and in
turn hit the ball further and more consistently than ever before. Let’s take a
closer look at just what makes these new drivers so special.

Honma’s revolutionary new driver features a patent-pending carbon slot which is
going to significantly help the efficiency of the strike when you strike the
ball low on the face. Most of the time, when someone mishits a driver, they hit
it low on the face, which is why they wanted to try to make the hits off the
bottom half of the club face better.

Honma has added a thinner layer of titanium and a carbon insert, making the
driver lighter so that you can swing it faster. The different weighting also
makes it so that all of your shots come out higher with less spin, meaning the
ball will not only carry further but roll further as well.

Another thing that makes this driver amazing is the new and improved shaft
technology that Honma has implemented. Their shafts are now all spine aligned at
6 o’clock, meaning that they will have added stability and control.

Overall, if you are looking for a driver that will help you hit more fairways
and hit the ball further than you have before, this is the driver for you. It is
available on our website here.

YOU SHOULD KNOW FACTORS FOR GOOD FLYING DRIVERS, AND POPULAR DRIVER .

There are many mechanics and aeronautical engineering element to discuss Golf
Drivers. You will find what you need to know important factors for you.

Consider the elements of popular drivers and flying drivers
Popular drivers, what are the criteria for flying drivers?
Rules of Golf / When you know the rules, you can see the elements of flying
Will popular drivers, new model drivers fly?
The shaft determines the quality of the driver
Choose the right loft angle
Definition summary of flying driver

Consider the elements of popular drivers and flying drivers

If you are a golfer, you should have the feeling that you want to fly with a
driver. In the sport of golf, the ball is basically hit with a golf club.
However, the sport of golf is not about distance competition. It is important to
make a score in the end. However, it is true that it is fun to fly, and the
enjoyment of the sport of golf is expanding.

That’s why golfers look for drivers that fly. I’m researching drivers that fly
faster than the driver I’m using now, drivers that fly more, how to fly, swings
that fly, and so on.

Once you get used to the sport of golf to a certain extent, you may think about
changing golf clubs to increase your flight distance rather than your swing or
golf technique. Golf clubs are evolving day by day, new models are announced
almost every year, and drivers packed with the latest technology are released,
so it seems like destiny as a golfer to buy a new driver and aim to increase the
distance. Thing.

However, it is also necessary to calmly think about what kind of driver is a
flying driver. The latest model driver doesn’t always fly, and popular drivers
don’t always suit you. Try it out and decide.

I would like to think about the definition of a driver who really flies.

Popular drivers, what are the criteria for flying drivers?

Flying drivers start by thinking about what they judge to fly compared to what.
There must be a lot of opinions that it is a flying driver that flies better
than the driver you are using now. In other words, the criterion is the driver
currently in use.

The fact that you are looking for a driver that flies better than the driver you
are using now suggests that you are not satisfied with your current driver. I
often think that I will fly more.

If you use a commercially available driver for several years, the shaft will
deteriorate and the head will also deteriorate. It is also said that the face
surface is worn and the repulsive force is weakened. Therefore, it would be very
good to replace the driver regardless of the fact that he doesn’t fly, and it is
necessary to replace the driver in order to maintain his driving performance.

The standard for flying drivers is the current driver, so it is wise to look for
a driver that can fly better than the current driver. And there is no need for
pretentiousness. It is important to understand your driving performance and find
a driver that suits you.

Rules of Golf / When you know the rules, you can see the elements of flying

The Rules of Golf have rules regarding driving clubs. The length of the shaft is
fixed and is said to be 48 inches or less. In addition, the head volume of the
driver is stipulated to be within 460cc. The restitution coefficient of the face
surface is within 0.83.

The length of the shaft, the size of the head, and the coefficient of
restitution of the face surface These three elements are defined by the rules.
In other words, it is the size of the shaft, the head, and the coefficient of
restitution of the face that affect the flight distance.

As a point to find a flying driver, it is good to check the length of the shaft,
the size of the head, and the coefficient of restitution of the face surface.

The longer the shaft, the faster the head speed, so you can fly. If the head is
large and 460cc or more, the moment of inertia will be high and it will be
easier to fly. The higher the coefficient of restitution of the face surface,
the stronger the ball can be hit.

(1) Longer shaft = faster head speed
(2) Larger head = higher moment of inertia
(3) High repulsion = bounce the ball strongly
There are various elements of a flying driver. Recently, drivers with low center
of gravity and low spin have become mainstream, but what really affects flight
distance is the length of the shaft, large head, and high coefficient of
restitution on the face.

Most of today’s drivers are designed with a low center of gravity, allowing them
to hit a low spin trajectory. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to
areas other than low center of gravity and low spin.

Will popular drivers, new model drivers fly?

If you think about whether or not popular drivers and new model drivers will
fly, the answer is that they are more resistant to miss-hit, so the probability
of hitting a good hit is higher than that of flying.

The newer model drivers definitely have a larger sweet spot than the older
drivers. Whether you hit the ball on the toe side or the heel side, there is a
kindness that will fly as it is.

Being able to fly even if the hit point is slightly off is a great help for
golfers, and it is one of the factors that increases the average flight
distance. This is because the driver golf club has a long shaft, which makes it
difficult to swing while keeping the hit point constant.

A driver from a few years ago would have a weak ball if hit on the toe side of
the face, and a low trajectory on the heel side. In other words, the trajectory
varies greatly depending on the hit point. However, recent new models of drivers
will raise the ball to a certain degree no matter where it hits the face, and it
will not stray too far to the left or right. Even if the sweet area has
expanded, it can be said that it is a flying driver, and it can be said that it
is becoming more and more gentle driver.

You could say that the new model drivers are getting kinder rather than flying.
Gentle drivers are sometimes referred to as tolerant drivers.

In other words, a gentle driver is a driver who flies.

A flying driver that suits you is a tolerant driver, a gentle driver. And a
friendly driver isn’t necessarily a novice driver.

The shaft determines the quality of the driver

It can be said that it is the shaft that determines the performance of the
driver. Of course, head performance is also important. However, the shaft has a
condition, flexure, flexure, weight, etc. If the golfer’s swing does not match,
it will absorb the power of the swing and will not fly at all. There is also

Golfers with slower swing speeds prefer a lighter shaft with a softer feel. You
can bend the shaft with little force, and you can use the bending of the shaft
to fly.

There is a custom that if you are a male golfer, it is better to use a flex S
shaft. However, it is wise to choose a shaft flex that matches your swing speed.
If you use a shaft such as Flex R or Flex SR instead of stretching, you may be
able to run the head with the bending return of the shaft, and you may
unexpectedly hit the ball strongly and fly.

A stiffer shaft isn’t necessarily better, and a heavier shaft isn’t necessarily
better. Using his shaft in Flex S is not always better.

It is wise to choose a shaft based on your swing speed, swing power and swing
rhythm.

Choose the right loft angle

Recently, most drivers with low center of gravity and low spin tend to increase
the loft angle. The reason for this is that the low spin trajectory has become
easier to hit, making it harder for the ball to rise. In other words, backspin
was high in the old days, so even if the loft angle number was small, it was
possible to give lift to the ball. A higher ball means more backspin.
However, recently, the idea of reducing the amount of backspin to prevent the
ball from blowing up and losing distance has become widespread. Therefore, it
becomes difficult to raise the ball by generating the amount of backspin. This
means that the ball will not rise. The ball doesn’t go up, it’s going to be a
carry shortage. If the trajectory is low, the ball will land immediately, so it
will not travel as far.

In that case, if you can hit a high launch angle from the beginning and hit a
high trajectory, you will be able to increase the flight distance, so the loft
angle is increased. Loft angles of 8.5 degrees and 9.5 degrees, which were
common in the past, are becoming rare.

Modern drivers have loft angles of 14 degrees, 12 degrees, 11 degrees, etc. The
number of low-spin drivers has increased to the extent that it is difficult to
lift the ball even at 10.5 degrees. If the loft angle number is small, it does
not mean that it will fly. If the head speed is slow, you can fly with a high
trajectory by using a driver with a loft angle of 12 degrees, 11 degrees, 10.5
degrees, etc.

Definition summary of flying driver

Fly better than your current driver
However, it should be a driver that can increase the average flight distance,
not just fly.
Forgiving Driver / Friendly Driver
A forgiving driver has a large sweet spot and is strong against miss-hits. Even
if the hit is bad, the driver that can fly as it is is the best.
A driver that makes the most of the shaft’s capabilities
Head performance is important, but it is also important to choose a shaft that
suits your swing. Choose a shaft that is neither too hard nor too soft, and that
flexes well enough to make up for the shortfalls in your swing.
loft angle
If the loft angle number is small, there is an image that it will fly, but in
reality it will only make it difficult for the ball to rise and it will not fly.
Choose a loft angle that allows you to increase the launch angle according to
your swing power.

DO YOU NEED DRIVER DISTANCE??

In recent years, the number of senior golfers is increasing year by year, and
the number of golfers who envy athletic golfers is also increasing. Are you one
of them? The USGA and R&A regulate COR in golf clubs to prevent manufacturers
from making golf clubs that totally overwhelm golf courses with distance.
I want to introduce Long Distance Golf clubs to increase more distance from
Japan.
This Driver is good for Average golfer Club head Speed from
65mph-95mph.incleasing +20~30yards more on Driver. Honma is the very prestaged
golf clubs from Japan.

BRAND NEW TAYLORMADE HI-TOE 3: WHY THIS WEDGE COULD CHANGE YOUR GAME!

TaylorMade has just announced their new version of the very popular Hi-Toe
lineup. This wedge is very forgiving and promotes a low launch and high spinning
shot. The main thing that sets this apart from the MG3 is that the grooves go
all the way from one end of the face to the other, which they call their, “Full
length scoring lines.” This wedge provides new and improved technology for
golfers of all skill levels, and should help you not just around the greens, but
on full shots as well. Let’s take a closer look at the features of the Hi-Toe 3.

The main feature of this brand new wedge is the high toe. The high toe helps to
promote a lower, more consistent ball flight no matter where you strike the ball
on the face. This lower launch is also going to help produce more spin, giving
you tour-like performance around the green and with shots into the green.

Another main feature of this wedge is the full face scoring lines, which make it
so that the entire face has grooves to produce spin. This is a great help when
you open up the face for a chip or a pitch shot, as many of those are hit out of
the toe. With a traditional wedge, you may lose spin as you are hitting a part
of the face that does not have grooves, but that will not be a problem with this
wedge.

TaylorMade has also added raised ribs between the grooves to make sure that you
are going to produce as much spin as possible. These will add even more spin to
partial shots that are hit around the green to make sure that you can stop the
ball from any lie that you have to deal with on the course.

Overall, much of the new technology in this wedge is to help produce more spin.
Everyone is impressed and wants to imitate the pro’s that we see on screen when
they can rip a ball back 10 feet or hit a one hop-stop out of the rough, and
this wedge will help you to do that.

customization to help fit your exact needs.

FUJIKURA VENTUS: WHY IS IT SO POPULAR?

The Fujikura Ventus shaft has taken the golf world by storm. It is now the most
used wood shaft on tour, and it is quickly taking over amateur golf as well. The
shaft has skyrocketed in popularity ever since Rory Mcilroy, one of the most
well-known players on the PGA Tour, put one in his driver and started to hit the
ball even further than he already did. Other players, such as Tiger Woods,
Scottie Scheffler, and Cameron Smith all use one of the shafts in the Ventus
family. Let’s take a deeper look at the different Ventus models and why you
should try some out for yourself.

To understand what makes the Ventus line so good, you have to first understand
what Velocore technology is. Velocore is the main technology in all the shafts
of the Ventus family. It was invented by Fujikura and it involves multi-material
construct to make the shaft as stable as possible. It helps to keep the club
face square when striking the ball, especially on off centered strikes. What
does this mean for you? It means much straighter shots no matter where you hit
it on the face, and a freedom to swing the golf club harder leading to more
distance consistently.

The Ventus Red is the highest launching, highest spinning, and the softest of
all 4 Ventus models. Although it is the highest launching and highest spinning,
it is still stiff in the tip and in the butt end of the shaft, and a little
softer in the middle. If you want to increase your launch and max height, while
still maintaining stability and speed, then this is the perfect shaft for you.

The Ventus Blue is stiffer than the Ventus Red, and allows for a lower launch
and spin than the red too. This shaft is perfect for the player that desires a
low spin profile with a stiff tip, but does not want to have their launch angle
be too low. This shaft will allow you to launch the ball with a mid-low ball
flight, while maintaining low spin.

The Ventus Black is by far the most popular shaft on tour, not just out of the
Ventus line, but compared to every other premium shaft out there. It is used by
very notable players such as Rory Mcilroy, Scottie Scheffler, and as a new
addition to the bag by Tiger Woods. The Ventus Black is one of the lowest
launching and lowest spinning shafts on the market. It is used by so many tour
pros because it offers the stability of a heavy shaft, while maintaining a light
weight allowing the player to swing it faster without having to think about it.

The Ventus TR Blue is the newest addition to the Ventus family. It was born
because some players wanted a Ventus Blue that was a little bit stiffer, but not
quite as stiff as the Ventus Black. It was most recently used by Cameron Smith
in his driver to win The Open Championship. It has become very popular on tour,
but not quite as popular as the Ventus Black.

Tiger Woods has used a Diamana shaft for the last few years, and he has had
great success with it. He always said that he loved the feel of the shaft, and
the numbers were perfectly what he was looking for. To play in the Open
Championship, Tiger switched his driver shaft to the Ventus black, further
proving that it is one of, if not the best shaft on the market. If Tiger Woods
uses it, you know that it is definitely something special that should not be
overlooked.

CHAMPION GOLFER OF THE YEAR CAM SMITH: WITB

What a tournament that was! We saw a stacked leaderboard all week including a
crazy battle down the stretch between Cam Smith, Rory McIlroy, and Cameron
Young. Who knew that the mullet-rocking Aussie would get that hot and completely
dominate the field with his putter. Sad day for Rory fans, but an exciting day
for anyone who roots for the scrappy underdog.

Now let’s get in to what tools helped Cam Smith take over the home of golf and
claim the Claret Jug.

Driver: Titleist TSR2 10.75 degrees with Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6 X shaft

Fairway wood: Titleist TSi2 15.75 degrees with Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 8 X shaft

Irons: Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi (3,4), T100 Black (5-9) with KBS Tour 130 X Custom
Matte Black shafts

Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM9 (46/10F, 52/08F, 56/08M), Wedgeworks Proto Jet Black
(60T) with KBS Tour 130 X Custom Matte Black shafts

Putter: Scotty Cameron 009M Tour prototype

Although some of Cam Smith’s clubs are limited to tour professionals, amateur
golfers are still able to buy many of the clubs he uses every tournament. His
putter is similar to the Scotty Cameron Newport model and his driver is simply
the next model of the Titleist TSi drivers. As golfers, we all want to be able
to replicate the consistency and explosiveness that tour pros demonstrate on a
weekly basis, and the best way to accomplish that is to use the same tools that
they do.

At Fairway Golf USA, we carry the newest clubs in a variety of custom options,
offering amateur golfers the same opportunity as pros. Although we cater to the
average golfer, our custom shop welcomes in professionals and amateurs alike as
the most trusted and professional custom repair and golf shop in the greater San
Diego area.

Venture down to the Fairway Golf Airport store at 2431 Pacific Highway, San
Diego, to get yourself one step closer to playing like the Champion Golfer of
the Year, Cam Smith.
