Our foundation is dedicated to nurturing the growth of community gardens in
various settings, from towns and neighborhoods to schools and communities.
Through our unique approach and initiatives, we're sowing the seeds of
inspiration, connection, and transformation.

ABOUT US

At Community Gardens As Appleseeds, we understand the power that gardens have to
bring people together. Our foundation was born out of the desire to create
spaces where individuals of all ages can connect, learn, and flourish. By
fostering the love for gardening, we aim to cultivate stronger bonds within
communities and inspire a greener, more sustainable future.

CGA has helped people in Iran, Israel, Ethiopia, the United States and
elsewhere.


SEEDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT PROGRAM

Seeds of Encouragement are stipends. The stipends go to anyone who is interested
in community gardens. Special attention is paid to young people and seniors. The
money can be spent on seeds, tools, soil amendments, books or other items or
work that the recipient feels is appropriate for community gardens.

OUR SERVICE


PLANTING THE SEEDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Empowerment starts with a seed. Our unique service, "Seeds of Encouragement," is
designed to inspire individuals and groups to embark on their gardening
journeys.

We offer cash stipends in the form of checks to young individuals, seniors, or
community groups. These stipends can be used to purchase essential supplies such
as seeds, tools, soil amendments, and other gardening-related items. From
Silicon Valley's Children's Discovery Museum to children in far-off places like
Haiti and Ethiopia, these stipends have already sprouted countless success
stories.
