NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

Newborns change so fast, capture this amazing time with a newborn photography
session. This is a session in our North Ryde studio, typically taken when the
baby is less than 20 days old, but we can incorporate older babies too. Choose
between a 1 hour mini wrapped or a full 2-4 hour session which includes multiple
set ups, poses, props and colour schemes.

SITTER PHOTOGRAPHY

This is a studio based session, typically taken when your baby is just starting
to sit up, at around the 6-8 month mark. At this age your baby’s personality is
starting to shine through, capture their cute smiles, expressions or even those
serious faces.

BIRTHDAY/CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHY

This is a studio based session, typically taken when your child turns one. Let
us capture their joy at tasting and destroying their birthday cake. This session
includes photos prior to the cake and also bath photos after the mess. Healthy
cake or fruit smash options available.

An outdoor session in a location in Sydney or studio based session in our North
Ryde studio, usually scheduled when you are around 32-36 weeks pregnant.
Partners and other children can be included in this session.

Hi I’m Sarah, a passionate newborn, child, maternity and family photographer.
Travelling around the world as a Registered Nurse on cruise ships is when my
love of photography took off. I saw the beauty that surrounded me and wanted to
capture the world with my camera. Since then I’ve always had a camera in hand,
capturing family and friends’ special moments. Then when I had my own children
(I am a Mum of two beautiful girls) I understood how fast our newborn babies and
kids grow up and the importance of having timeless photos to treasure.
I love to capture those first days and weeks of your newborn baby. Those squishy
lips, tiny fingers and toes, and the pure innocence that is a newborn baby. As
your child grows, sitter sessions are so much fun to photograph. Your baby is
sitting, sometimes crawling around and their personalities really start to
shine. Once your baby turns one, having a milestone session with portraits, a
cake smash and bath is the perfect way to watch your baby enjoy and discover
their first taste of cake.
From maternity, through to newborn and child photography, it’s my pleasure to
help create family memories. I also offer family outdoor photoshoots to help
document every stage of your family’s journey.
I’m also a Registered Nurse and Naturopath, newborn safety trained, have a
working with children certificate and up to date with all vaccinations,
including the Covid-19 double vaccination.

Sarah is lovely and patient and has an eye for photography. Recommend AAA+++ as
my little boy was so active and she knows all the tricks and got gorgeous
pictures. We also gave some photos to family as gifts as they live interstate.

was so good with her, changing her into different outfits and playing soothing

Sarah did a newborn shoot for our son, we loved our photos and her easygoing
nature and the studio was very well set up with many cute props/themes.

Sarah did a maternity/family photo shoot for us and we absolutely loved both her
and her work. She was referred to us by a friend who did a newborn session with
her. The shoot yielded absolutely beautiful shots that show our toddler’s
personality and what it feels like to be around her at this age. She also
managed to capture some amazing belly shots as well. She is unbelievably easy to
work with and provided our photos way ahead of schedule. In person, Sarah is
really kind and friendly, and our almost 3-year old was very comfortable around
her.
End-to-end, we couldn’t have had a better experience. I can’t wait until she
